About Me
I am a warm friendly sociable and fun-loving N.N.E.B trained Nanny, up until September 2013 worked for the Surrey County Council in a state nursery in Maybury infants school Woking. [Ofsted Inspected in 2009 – The Nursery received several ‘outstanding’ results.]
I believe that childhood should be full of fun, love, laughter and plenty of cuddles! They should have a warm, stimulating and positive environment, which contains opportunities for their all-round development i.e. physical social emotional and psychological.
I have 5 years experience with Early Years Foundation Stage, and am able to organize age appropriate activities, have the ability to stay calm when required. I have worked as a special needs assistance to a 4 year old boy with severe austism and also a group of children with global learning difficulties. From previous Nanny positions I know how imperative it is that she is reliable and flexible as alternative childcare is not always easily available and commuting can be a nightmare!
I have successfully raised 3 boys of my own now 33,31 and 26
My Experience
October 2022 to present looking after 2 year old boy.
March 2019 to July 2022 after same girl and her sibling.
May 2015 to present looking after girl sole charge from 10 weeks old
June 2014 to October 2015- Divided week between 2 families first with 4 year old boy, second part 3year old twin girls. Quite often looking after all 3 as Mothers were friends
October 2013- left employment to care for terminally ill Mum.
2011 Since April - Sole charge of 10 month and 2 year old. At weekends and school holidays.
2008- September 2013 Nursery Nurse and special needs assistance at Maybury Infants School. I resigned to look after my terminally ill Mum.
Previous to this I was mainly a stay at home Mum however I attended college for 2 years achieving a Diploma in Clinical hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.
2002: Babysat and did child minding for 2 years for ages 6 months to 2 years
1993 - 95 I was a landlady of a public house
1990’s: When my boys were young I returned with them to previous employees with my children to look after their new additions.
1989: Went back to East Horsley to look after boys for the summer holiday
1987: Sole charge of girl aged 18 months for 2 years in Pyrford. I became pregnant and so did Mum.
1985: Sole charge 2 boys 4 and 7 years for 2 years in East Horsley. Whilst they were at school I looked after 12 month old triplets until they were 2 years old.
1985: Leeds sole charge 6 month old boy for 6 months
1983: Left college sole charge of 18 month old little girl in Effingham for 2 years
