I was offered this job opportunity which led me to move to China and to progress to the higher position of EYFS lead teacher. Here I had the chance to help children not only to learn the English language but also to develop and improve lots of different skills, by following the EYFS. Some of the key responsibilities in my role included: deploying staff and resources effectively; providing amazing customer service by looking after the children in the best possible way; leading observations and assessment of children’s learning and development; planning exciting, fun and challenging activities for children; ensuring records were kept up to date, of a high standard and also shared effectively; working in partnership with all parents/carers by building and maintaining positive and strong relationships; overseeing and monitoring members of my own team; delegating tasks appropriately; leading meetings, one to ones with parents and team members; contributing to the effective recording and resolution of any complaints; reflecting on practice and routines, tailoring them to meet the individual needs of each child; helping with the organization of different events and open day and leading demonstration classes to support the recruitment of new parents and children.

March 2015 – December 2017
• Early Years Practitioner in The Co-operative Childcare for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. My job role required me to provide amazing customer service by looking after the children in the best possible way, ensuring they remain safe, in a safe and friendly learning environment, which also made their parents happy to bring their children into the setting. I gave valuable input to planning in order to offer excellent activities that supported the children with their development. I also made observations and recorded their progress and assisted them when and where they required additional support. As a key person I ensured I had close professional relationships with parents, carers and outside professionals. In addition I also took part in open days to encourage new parents to join the setting, as well as taking part in organising different events such as charity fundraising events.
May 2013- March2015
• Housekeeper and Nursery Assistant in Apple Tree Daycare Nursery. I first started working in the nursery as a Housekeeper. My main role was to tidy up and clean all nursery rooms; to sort, wash, load, unload, fold and put away laundry; to maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditions; to check, order and restock resources in the building; to supervise and support other housekeepers; to help and support the nursery staff if needed. After working as Housekeeper I decided to start my career in childcare and qualified as a Nursery Assistant. Working in the nursery I have enjoyed learning and acquiring new skills associated with all aspects of Daycare alongside some very knowledgeable people who have been great role models for me. I have also learnt the importance of team work in addition to being confident to work alone. I have worked with all the age groups within the Nursery from Pre-School and Toddlers to Babies aged from 6 months up to 2 years. I also took part in organising events/open days to encourage new parents to join the nursery.
