About Me
I have lived in this area all my life - being surrounded by beautiful countryside which is a great opportunity for children to explore and learn without realising! Children in my care are offered a home from home family environment. I have two grown up children of my own (currently 20 and 17) and a cavalier spaniel who is adored by all the children! I have a long standing and excellent relationship with The Old School Nursery and Holy Trinity Academy Great Cheverell. Children in my care have access to a variety of activities and resources, as well as enjoying daily walks and regular visits to toddler groups, other childminder settings, parks, small animal holdings, library, soft play, National Trust properties and outdoor spaces (I hold family life membership) and even the beach! I am also an active member of the Devizes Childminders Group and a keen crafter an activity the children have also thoroughly enjoyed. I care for children from 0-11 years and flexible to accommodate full and part time contracts.
My Experience
I have been a full time childminder since 2005, prior to this I worked for The National Trust full time for 20 years, using a childminder myself so have experience of both sides of the fence!
My Qualifications
I was graded Outstanding on my last inspection. I am also Accredited. I hold NVQ 3 in Childcare Development along with the statutory qualifications- Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding (level 3), as well as a variety of other qualifications.
My Availability
My core hours are 8am - 6pm, hours outside of this can be discussed. I am open all year. I accept company childcare vouchers, as well as the government universal and extended funding for 2/3 year olds.
