About Me
Hi, I am Silke-Andrea, I am 45 years old and have two daughters, a 9 and an 11 year old. My background is in event management, but I have gained plenty of childcare experience raising my own children and I have also worked as a nanny when my kids were younger. For a living I currently run a holiday let in Lincolshire and I write children's books (the first one, 'My new Friend Sunny the Spider', was published this year) and I am looking for either occasional or regular work on one to two days a week. When looking after children their development and wellbeing is my upmost priority. I enjoy taking children to places where they can play and learn, such as the playground, children's library, play groups etc. At home we have toys to play with or we can do colouring, jigsaws, play boardgames, etc.

Eleven years of raising my own children and one year as a Nanny to a three year old boy.
My Qualifications
I am holding a bachelor degree in hospitality and a diploma in music.
My Availability
I am available on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday ideally from around 9.30/10am. I am also available for weekend babysitting given that my 9 and 11 year old daughters can come along. They are lovely with children of all ages.

I have been very happy with the care that Andrea has given to my son. She has always been reliable and her warm manner helped Isaac settle in quickly. The children have a good balance of stimulating time and calm time, and I know that Andrea provides healthy home-cooked food which is a high priority for me. I can highly recommend her service.
