About Me
Hi I’m Laura and have been registered with Ofsted since 2017 and had my first Ofsted inspection in 2019 where I received a good rating. I have 2 children of my own born in 2009 and 2015. I look after children aged between 5 and 11 mostly term time only. I drop off and pick up children from Chase Bridge in all years. Laura looked after both of my sons before and after school throughout their time at primary school (there is 3 years between them). It was such a comfort to know that they were with her. She was more than a childminder - she was a second mum. Her home was always warm and friendly, and when we collected the boys, they had always done something, whether it was going to the park, playing in the garden, arts / crafts or games. The weekly menu included a variety of home cooked dinners and special events were always celebrated. It was such a happy and positive setting. If I needed additional cover, Laura was always there. I have no hesitation in recommending Laura. Without a doubt, my 2 boys benefitted from their time with her and for that, I will always be really grateful.

My son was looked after by Laura for several years and it was great. She does the basics brilliantly, but goes the extra mile with special treats, activities and birthday teas for every child. My husband worked shifts and Laura was super understanding of our changing weekly requirements. Most importantly my son was really happy. Laura provided a loving home environment for him to play and relax before and after a busy day at school. I couldn't ask for more!

Laura is a wonderful, kind and talented childminder who looked after our youngest son for several years after school. Her house was a home away from home for him during that time - a place full of giggles where he was always welcome, always felt safe and always had fun. Her understanding of the individual needs of each child and communication with parents is outstanding. We would highly recommend her to any parent in the area.
