About Me
As a registered Childminder, it is my intention to provide a ‘home from home’ service where children feel calm, happy and stimulated. I provide high quality childcare within a warm and welcoming environment. I live in a detached house in Lowestoft, close to a few local amenities. I have a dedicated playroom, somewhere quiet for little ones to sleep and a large enclosed garden, offering free flow outdoor play.
I have public liability insurance and home and car insurance that are suitable for the purpose of childminding. I am a member of Pacey. As a registered Childminder, I accept Government funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
My Experience
I have worked with children and young people for the last 20 years as either a primary school teacher or family nanny. I am familiar with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and enjoy the responsibility of planning and preparing a variety of play based activities and experiences relevant to children’s age and stage of development.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with 18 years experience, mostly working with Early Years children. I have also been a nanny both in America and the UK which has given me experience with new born babies. I hold a clean drivers license, an enhanced DBS, a Food Hygiene certificate, a Paediatric First Aid certificate. As part of my teaching responsibilities, I have attended courses relating to special educational needs, most recently working with children on the autistic spectrum and epilepsy training.
My Availability
My typical day is 8am to 6om but I can be a bit flexible. I currently have spaces starting in January 2018.

My Fees
- Childminding from £3.90 per hour
My fees are £4.10 per hour. Children can have a healthy breakfast and lunch here for £1. 20 each and an evening meal for £2.
Hours outside of my typical day are charged at £5. 50 per hour.

A wonderfully set up childminder who sent all policies for us to read relaxed our daughter and relaxed us as parents by sending updates during the day our daughter enjoyed her days here the layout is clean and safe.
