Our daughter was with Nina from age 1 to 3.5 and I couldn't recommend it more highly. When we were deciding on a childcare provider we wanted somewhere our child would be valued as well as somewhere more like a nursery where there's a back up if any staff are absent etc. Nina's is a perfect middle ground. There are four members of staff who all give so much care to the children. There has been no staff turnover the entire time we've been sending our daughter there and the hours are so flexible and accommodating it has been excellent value.
The space inside Nina's for the children to play is delightful, incredibly well thought through and well cared for and spotlessly clean at the end of every day. Our daughter has grown into a very sociable little girl who is happy to share toys and her views with other children.
I only wish we had known about her in time for her older sister to have gone there too. Nina will always be a very special place.

Nina is wonderful. Our youngest was looked after for nearly four years. In that time, she has helped to nurture a confident and happy girl who has taken the step to primary school seamlessly. It has been observed that the children who were under Nina’s care stand out as independent and sociable. We are really glad that we chose Nina and wholly recommend her and her approach to childcare.

We heard lots about 'Ninas' during pandemic time in the local play park and it was all positive. After viewing the provision, we sent 2.5 year old and a few months later a 1.5 year old.
We choose Nina as a care provider due to the home like atmosphere and that our children will always be together.
My children are good communicators and always talk about what they got up to during their time.
Nina spoke about certain difficulties with my children in a non shaming and confidential way of which I appreciate.
My youngest is still with Nina 4 days a week and still enjoys going there even though she regularly says she wants to go school with her sister instead.
My children loved and loves going to Nina's and her reliability is incredible. Highly recommended.

Our son has enjoyed going to Nina's for the last 2 years from the ages of almost 3 to almost 5. He has most recently been going for 21 hours a week over 3 days. One thing that helped sway us is Nina is flexible and has been eg able to take our son occasionally for an extra session if we eg had an important appointment or when our daughter was born. This has meant a lot to us. Nina really cares and is passionate about what she does.
As one of the other reviews says, Nina’s is more like a small nursery with sometimes up to roughly ten children of different ages, up to four qualified staff and a large annexe on the side of her house dedicated to childcare. When we looked around, I remember being surprised by how cavenous it is inside. There are several different rooms/play areas as well as a garden with amongst other things: swings, a playhouse and lots of ride-on toys. They spend a lot of time outside, especially in the summer and our little boy has loved the water play especially. He says Nina has “more toys than any number”! He loves all her vehicles and superhero toys.
Nina is quite creative in the activities they do. She sends videos and photos each week of what they have been doing. I know our son has particularly enjoyed the baking, singing, dancing and park trips. They also do plenty of arts and crafts and bring their creations home during festivals and at special times of the years. Nina gives them all a little ‘goody bag’ of treats and mini gifts at Christmas time. She also organised a large garden party at the end of the summer last year with a children’s entertainer and more.
Nina and her team are all kind, caring and genuinely fond of the children. Of note, Nina went above and beyond in assisting our son with his toilet training and intimate care. We are very grateful for that.
One thing I particularly like about Nina’s is it has an international flavour eg some of the parents come from diferent parts of the world and some of the children speak different languages. Also, it is noticeable that the older children help the younger children and learn to care for others. Boys and girls also play nicely together and the children do not seem to notice much any differences. Nina says they are all part of ‘her/their family’. ‘Her’ children are confident in playing with children from different backgrounds and look forward to playing with ‘their friends’ at her house. The children have a strong moral code and know how to share and be inclusive.
Our son is now looking forward to starting school and is good at making friends. We know he will miss you all though. We are hoping to shortly be starting our baby daughter at Nina’s and feel confident in doing so. Thanks again, Nina, to you and your team, for all the wonderful childcare!

My daughter has been with Nina and the team for about 2 and a half years. My daughter was very quiet before going to Nina setting.
Since being with Nina and the team, my daughter’s confidence has grown. Her speech had improved so much. My daughter’s personality came out so much especially participating in every activities with other children. All the activities that are arranged by the team are amazing.They have mini trips which my daughter loves to go on.
My daughter is always happy and loves to socialise and help others around her. Nina and the team have so much dedication with the work they do and to be honest I feel that every time I leave my daughter with Nina and the team, she is in safe hands. The communication are very good and we do get pictures and videos of the activities that my daughter does.
I would like to say a huge thanks to Nina and the team for helping my daughter develop her confident and independence and giving her so much care. I will definitely recommend Nina and the team to others as a lovely, caring and safe environment for children to grow and develop their learning abilities.

Our little boy spent two years with Nina. He really grew and flourished and became very confident during his time with her. Although Nina's is described as a childminders, it is really set up like a nursery, with wonderful inside and outside spaces and trips out to the river or the local playground. It is incredibly clean. Children paint, sing together, bake and celebrate one another's birthdays.
Nina puts an enormous amount of work and effort into everything she does, going above and beyond. The people who work with her display similair amounts of care and attention.
Nina's is perfect for mobile children and is a really great place for children to figure out who they are. We are incredibly grateful to Nina.

Our little girl went to Nina’s for almost 3 years!
Nina and the team are so warm and friendly! It was my daughter second home and family!! She loved it! Was so excited to go everyday!!
The activities the team put together are so fun for the children as well as educational! They have trips out to the field, park, down to Iffley licks to see the ducks! Everything a child wants and needs!!!
I used to LOVE getting pictures and videos of what they’re up to!
Nina’s setting is so cosy & clean!! Feels super homely and perfect for little ones!!
Nina and the team really do an amazing job of looking after the children, you can tell they love them all!!! It’s so heartwarming to watch and know how much each child is loved there!!
My daughter has started school now, she left Nina’s over the summer. The transition to school was made so easy with lots of help from Nina & team, they would chat to the older children about school, what to expect there etc… so the children knew what was coming rather than being filled with fear!
My older daughter LOVED going to Ninas!!
So much so, we send our younger one there now! & of course she absolutely loves being there!!!!

I couldn't recommend Nina and her team enough. My daughter went there for 3 years and 1 month, it was the best thing ever.
They were so helpful from the beginning, it was my daughter's second family.
I cherish all the pictures and videos they send me.We were very sad, when my daughter left to start reception,and they prepared her really well for that. She always wants to go back to Nina's.
They really do their best , all the kids love Nina and her team. I can't be grateful enough for everything what they did for my daughter.

From the moment I walked into Nina's house, I knew my daughter would be happy there - she has loads of toys and a very big outdoor play area and also takes the children out to the parks which my daughter loves. Nina was my daughter's 3rd childminder and I must say I was shocked at how quickly my daughter settled in at Nina's. It's worth noting that my daughter is an only child and lives alone with me, as such she's very clingy and it took her about 4months to settle with previous Childminders but it took her much less (about 3weeks) to settle at Nina's - I wished I found Nina much sooner!
Soon she started waking up and saying "going to Nina"s" and that literally melted my heart. She woke up everyday and looked forward to going to Nina's and will always ask after Nina and Lisa. That said a lot to me, it was clear my daughter was happy at Nina's which in turn made me happy and relaxed each time I dropped her off.
Over time I could see my daughter picked up good habits - she would immediately go to wash her hands once we got back home, she would cover her mouth when coughing, she was more happy to share her toys and food - to mention a few.
I would highly recommend Nina and her team, a trial will convince you!!!

My daughter has been going to Nina's for the last 3 years and I highly recommend them to anyone that asks.
My daughter was a lockdown baby which meant she had only been around family. I was very anxious about her starting at the childminder but all the staff were very welcoming and supportive. Due to their knowledge and experience, my daughter's transition was very smooth and after a few settling in sessions, she was happy and settled.
Over the last three years, we have always felt very welcomed and we are always greeted with a smile. All the staff are kind, friendly, caring and happy. They genuinely love the children in their setting and they treat them like family.
The communication is amazing, I love all the daily pictures and videos I get of my daughter and her friends doing all different activities.
They always make sure the children have exciting activities that are educational, alot of singing, dancing, walks to the park, feeding the ducks not to mention the themed days which my daughter loves.
Thank you to all the staff for giving my daughter the best foundation in life, we came with a shy, clingy baby that cried alot and we are leaving with a super confident, chatty, caring and loving daughter who is ready for school. I will forever be grateful for all the love and care you have given to us as a family. I feel like we have gained an extra family as my daughter loves you all and she will miss seeing you everyday.

Our LB has been with Nina and her team from 6 months to beginning his primary schooling. Nearly 4 years!
Our experience has been one of a joyful and nurturing environment. Our LB confidence and his early years development has flourished.
Nina is always extremely accommodating with changes in schedule and timings if needed. And although we are looking forward to our LB next step in his schooling career this chapter in our lives will be cherished. Thoroughly recommend for any prospective parents and little ones!

I couldn't recommend Nina and her team enough. Leaving your child in the care of others is a difficult part of parenthood which is why i can confidently say these ladies were a massive support for myself and my son. He started attending Ninas when my maternity leave was over (1 years old) and naturally I was anxious, nina and the rest of the team made me feel at ease throught our transiton from day 1. Daily updates with photos, feedback at the end of the day, flexibility, caring and friendly team, everything a parent wants from the people they are leaving their child with.
I truly believe the care nina and her team provided made a massive impact on my sons development. He is confident, outgoing, very much a people person and I know alot of skills he required when attending this setting.

Nina is fantastic. She had our daughter from 11 months to 18 months for 2 days a week, and loved her time there. When settling in at the beginning, Nina would regularly send photos and videos of our daughter having fun and playing with the other kids, giving us comfort that she was setting in well. At all times we felt it was a safe, loving and kind environment for our daughter to be in. Highly recommended.

It is difficult when you need to left your baby with someone that you don't know yet. That's why I want to recomend you Nina and her team. I can see on the videos Nina send me from my son how happy he is and the big smile he got always for them. She is flexible with hours and you can see they care about children and love spend time with them. I am so grateful to have my son with Nina and her team.

My DD went to Nina's for 2 years and absolutely loved it! Nina and the team are really friendly, caring, reliable and flexible and do a wide variety of activities with the children; sand play, water play, arts and crafts, gardening etc. My daughter literally, waved goodbye and ran through the door!

Nina and her small team of child minders have been with us for 6 years. I have two boys age 4 and 7 now and I have met Nina when my first son was almost 1 and I had to go back to work. Nina really loves and understands children, they all do there. It’s a second home for children who go to Nina. We are so lucky we had whole team looking after my boys as now they are very confident chatting to everyone and play with children all ages. She is very flexible, loving, warm, reliable and hardly ever off! Really! She helped me countless times with extra days and evenings when I had to do extra work. Because of Nina’s calm personality children are very happy there. My both sons loved going to Nina as they had so much fun there playing, going out for little trips and walks. I can not recommend Nina and her team enough. We have many childminders around us where we live but only Nina gave me the confidence to let her look after my
children. Don’t know many other people with such a good and big heart like Nina!!!

Nina provides an incredible environment for the children in her care. Our son is just leaving Nina's now, after over two years there. We know he's going to miss it there dearly, and we are too. Amongst the various stresses of being young working parents, Nina's has consistently been a source of calm reassurance for us. Our son has made so many friends there, and we've always been so happy knowing that he's safe, entertained and perfectly looked after. We can't recommend Nina enough and are deeply grateful for the past two years. Huge thanks!

Our second child joined Nina's on his first birthday and has been there full time until school start now (nearly three and half years). With both parents working and no family support nearby, her childminder's has been a gift for us - very accommodating and flexible and steadfast duing the uncertainties of the pandemic. Our child has absolutely loved going to Nina’s & we are sad to be having to leave. He started when he was 9 months old & Nina& all her staff were extremely caring& went above and beyond to ensure that he settled quickly and was happy. The family atmosphere that has been created is wonderful, our son was able to mix with a variety of different aged children and from different nationalities. The children get to experience lots of outdoor play & a range of different crafts& well thought out ideas. Nina is also extremely caring and helpful with any worries or concerns you may have as a parent, offering helpful advice through her many years of experience. She is flexible with hours changing and illness & sends videos of what your child is up to through the day which is lovely to see and reassuring. I am a teacher & have felt like Nina’s setting is wonderful. It truly is a wonderful place, where we have felt really grateful to be able to send our child.

My little boy has loved being part of the ‘family’ at Nina’s house, starting from four months old. It’s the best of both worlds between what you’d expect from a childminder and a nursery. Because there are other children of different ages, backgrounds and nationalities, as well as a number of female and male staff (most of whom have been working there a long time) he has been really well socialised. At the same time it has the flexibility and relaxed atmosphere of a home, with real affection not just professional care. Nina has always been very practical and flexible about things like changing hours, minor illness, potty training etc. The children have lots of opportunity for outdoor play and unstructured time, as well as activities such as crafts and cooking, and they send me little videos of him through the day. We’re all sorry to be saying goodbye!

Both our children went to Nina's since they were 7 months old and now that my son is starting reception we are so sorry to leave her! Our children were so happy there, we felt they were really nurtured and no request was too much bother. You can really see they care about the children and love spending time with them. They give them 1-to-1 attention and create personalised activities if they notice a child needs more support in developing certain skills. The setting is so well equipped and they also do outings to the park or different playgrounds, so they are never bored. Nina and the team are also so flexible and understanding, even of last minute changes, which for us as full-time working parents it has been invaluable.

We have had our two children with Nina since our son was 6 months old (he's now 7 and a very happy primary schooler) and our younger has just moved on to pre-school at 3.
Nina has been a rock in our lives - dependable, friendly and superb with the kids. One thing we've always known with Nina is that the children are well cared for, in a genuinely loving setting, but they are also getting a really good grounding in how to play nicely, how to get along with other kids, and how to be kind to each other.
They have both had no trouble moving onto other places, and we know this is in no small part down to the excellent, stable and positive start that Nina has given them.
We always felt like Nina's was an extension of the family, and we feel privileged to have been part of the extended 'Nina family'. We will always have a fond place in our lives for Nina and all of her crew.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Nina as a true home-from-home, we have always been happy when our children were there.

Nina and the team looked after our little one 1,5months and we feel so lucky we found Nina. We moved places further away so had to find a new childminder. Our little one stayed there from 8,5 months old till 26 months old and loved going there everyday. She developed a close bond with Nina and the team there and all the kids, even had best friends. She has been flourishing there and enjoying herself, which is really reassuring as new parents. We’re still in touch with Nina and she will always have a special place on our family.
I also loved the fact we got pictures and videos quite often to see our little one profess and have fun.

Nina and her team looked after our son from 6 months old until he went to reception year, and then he still went after school a few days a week. He was always very happy to go there, with lots of different activities, games, toys, books etc and he made some good friends. They have a structured and varied schedule for the kids, with a big focus on outdoor play whenever possible, and were fully engaged with different phases of development (starting solid food, potty training, fussy eating phases, starting school etc). As parents, Nina/ staff were always willing to talk through what had happened in the day, and she was flexible wherever she could be to accommodate unforeseen changes to our plans. She also did everything possible to avoid having to cancel any arrangements. At collection time it was clear the environment was always cleaned down thoroughly at the end of each day. Nina became part of Beau's family, and we still keep in touch after he has left. An outstanding childminders.

Where do I start! Nina and her team are very special and have played a huge part of our sons life since he was a tiny 9 month old. Going back to work can be daunting but with Nina and co’s motherly approach and her homely environment I felt as though my son was with family (exactly the approach I wanted with him being so small) and this was a massive relief for me and I know he felt safe and happy from day one. Not only this her learning environment is amazing, she has so many resources and a fantastic outside space. Her activities are carefully planned, they are inclusive and representing the children and families on the community (which was so important to me).
Nina and team, thank you for your love, thank you for giving my son your time, for being so flexible and thank you for always going above and beyond. You are all amazing.
I will always speak so highly of you all and recommend you to other families looking for childcare. I know my son with cherish his early start forever and it has given him the confidence to flourish.

Nina and her team are absolutely great. My daughter really enjoyed the place, she was really happy. They are doing a lot of activities.

We are very happy with Nina, our girl is going to Nina since she was 11 months old and sge is loving it there. Even on a weekend we have to always explain it to her that she is going on monday back, and she can't wait. We do recommend Nina for sure

Both of our children have had very happy times at Nina's. It is a perfect mix of the familiarity of a childminder and the interaction with other children that you'd get in a nursery setting. Nina has always been so accommodating to our needs which has been so useful as our childcare requirements have changed over the years. She is always very thoughtful sending home cards and gifts on special occasions throughout the year and also sending videos when the children seem upset in the morning to show that they are fine and settled later on. Thank you Nina and the team for all your care and hard work with the children and it feels very sad that it is Hannah's last day!

It is sad that we are moving to Glasgow and had to say goodbye to Nina and her team. My boy first started with Nina since July last year. Harvey had only been with Nina for nearly 6 months but what she has done in taking care of Harvey is absolutely amazing. Harvey is a bilingual kid and he got late speech delay. Due to organised play session in Nina’s settings, Harvey has stepped a lot from counting, singing and now making conversations. Nina kept updated regularly about Harvey’s development and helped us a lot in his progress. Harvey loves Nina so much and he had enjoyed going to Nina’s place by keeping saying “Nina” name constantly. That shows how much love he got for Nina. Thanks again for your great service Nina xxx

My little boy started going to Nina's when he had just turned one. He had never been away from me before and I was nervous about leaving him for a full day at childcare. Nina kept to much the same routine that he had at home and soon he had adapted to the change and was thoroughly enjoying his experience there. Nina knows that every child is different and she is attentive to different parents' needs; she listens and gives regular feedback and no query is too small. Her colleagues are equally friendly and approachable and work hard for the children. I got regular videos and photos which kept me updated on his progress during the day. In the warm weather they spend a lot of time outdoors playing on the various activity boards and toy vehicles. I liked how the ages mixed and helped each other. The environment is nurturing and children are encouraged to share and be kind to each other. They are also encouraged to be creative and my little one was always coming home with a painting or drawing or craft. I highly recommend Nina and her team.

Nina and her wonderful colleagues have been like extended family to us and our daughter over the past 2+ years. The setting is like something between nursery and family. There are lots of fun and educational activities as well as outdoor play, and a strong emphasis on everyone looking after one another ("caring and sharing", as Nina says). We have particularly appreciated the way that the children of different ages mix together - not long after our daughter started at Nina's the older toddlers were helping her get more confident on her feet, and now she can pay it forward to the little ones coming up behind her. Best of all, Nina & co. just love her (and all the children!) and she loves them - it was such a wrench to begin with, when our little one was just a baby and so seldom out of our arms/sight, but now (just turned 3) she protests on having to come home at the end of the day! We couldn't recommend Nina more warmly.

My elder son started going to Nina since we moved to Oxford in 2016 and when he was a year old and he was there until he was 4 years old and started school. Before coming to Nina my elder son was very quiet and finding it hard to settle with other kids is in the previous setting but since he has started with Nina he was very happy settled very well with all the kids. Nina and her lovely team engage very well with the son and looked after my son very well, they did various indoor and outdoor activities with my son and helped with my son's communication and socializing skills.
I have trusted Nina as a family member, she is very caring and my son was always happy to go to Nina.
Now my younger son has also been going to Nina since he was 6 months old, we have moved from oxford to Didcot but still, I prefer to send my son only to Nina as my younger son settled well in her setting and happy.
Nina has always kept me updated with the progress of my son's development and engages him with different activities which he enjoys. Nina has good childcare skills and looks after my son very well and knows what exactly they want and keeps parents updated with any changes or progress my son made.
Nina has been very friendly, reliable, trustworthy, and flexible and when I needed her help even at the last minute she would try her best to support.
my elder son loves to go to Nina when he gets term holidays as he always enjoys going to Nina & enjoyed her setting.
I would highly recommend Nina and as she & her team are brilliant support for my kids & family.
I would highly appreciate all the effort she has kept to transform her setting based on COVID guidelines and following the safety of children.

Nina has been absolutely amazing with our daughter. We have been sending our little one to Nina s for the past 3 years and we are so sad now to have to leave for school. But the memories our daughter has made there will not be forgotten. Nina has been like a second mother to all the children there, she has made sure everyone feels included and made to feel loved. Every birthday, Christmas, Mother's / Father's day she has made sure children and parents alike feel special. The children there learn how to appreciate nature (a lot of flower / leaf picking and projects with dried leafes), they do cooking, learn to cross the road, go shopping ,read books, do art with ricyclables. There are so many activities organised for them, both indoors and outdoors. We send packed lunch but Nina does morning and afternoon snacks for the children which most times it's something they all prepare together. We have never had any issues there. Even with Covid, Nina has taken all the possible measures to make sure the children are safe to return. We always felt at ease knowing our daughter is well looked after and happy.

We had to move our little boy (then just 2) as the previous childminders were unable to manage normal toddler behaviour & didn't want him anymore. So we were anxious about finding a friendly & interesting place for him. The set up is great as it feels like a nursery with lots of outdoor space & so many toys. They do lots of activities from craft, turn taking games with other children & music. We are so grateful to Nina & co. He loves it there, they're very friendly & his speech has come on lots. Just wish he was there from the age of 1!
Cleanliness- full PPE used for drops & picks ups. Hand gel used pre & post entry.
Food- packed lunches from home.
Communication- daily feedback during pickups and photos/videos sent.

My daughter Ginette started going to Nina when she was only 4 months old and only left now and she is 4 years old.
I have trusted Nina like a second mum. She is very caring and positive and was a very good influence in Ginette’s life. I know she genuinely loved Ginette.
We moved home when Ginette was two and we looked for other childminders in the area but after 2 bad experiences we decided to take her back to Nina and drove back and forth for over 30mn a day. We knew Ginette was in good hands.
Ginette met her best friend at nina and she has always been so happy. Nina organises many stimulating activities indoor and outdoors. Ginette always comes back home with some sort of craft work and she is very proud of it.
During lockdown Ginette missed Nina a lot, always asking about her and now that she is no longer going she keeps asking me how often we can go and visit her.
Overall l have no idea how l would have done without Nina in the last four years.

My son has been going to Nina since he was 8 months old, he’s now 3 and I can honestly say In all that time he’s never cried at drop off time and is always excited and more then happy to go, even 2 years in! Nina offers so much more than you could imagine from a childminder as she has a very big playhouse built for the children which is basically like a lovely little nursery where the children play and learn and do all sorts of activities, I feel my son has the best of both worlds at Nina’s because she can provide a large nursery style setting but he gets one on one love and care that a childminder is able to offer as well, my son adores Nina. It will be a sad day when he goes to mainstream nursery!

The minute I took my son to visit Nina's house I could see how happy he was there and he cried when we took him away! Nina offers something so much better than other childminders as she has 2 childminders and 2 assistants so there are many children similar to a nursery but a while lot more toys!! My son absolutely loves them all and all the toys and hes always sk happy when I pick him up. I cant reccomend Nina highly enough.
