About Me
My name is Emma Thorpe. I've been child-minding for 10years and I am Ofsted registered . I work along side my mum who is also a childminder. I have Three children of my own. I provide a fun, welcoming environment where all children are able to explore, learn and develop new skills. I am hard working and trustworthy person, who is easy to approach and will work alongside parents/carers valuing their views, beliefs and routines.
My Experience
I have been child-minding for 10 years. Prior to this I was an assistant. I have Three children of my own and was brought up in a childcare setting myself as my mum as been a childminder for over 20 years.

I work Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I charge £4.50 per hour.
I do a daily rate at £32 a day
Breakfast, snacks and drinks are included with in this price and lunch is an extra £1.25

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Michael and All Angels Catholic Primary School

My son has been with Emma and Tina for about 6 months. It was always going to be tricky as my son has difficult allergies to contend with and I work an awkward shift pattern requiring different days each week.
Tina assured me that none of this would be a problem. We work together to ensure my son is safe and is able to eat alongside the rest of the children although his food is slightly different at times. But he isnt ever left out.
My son goes in smiling and comes out smiling. He was so comfortable right away at being there. He has made some cute friendships and spends his day having fun. The house is big enough for the kids. Sometimes they go to the park. I love that they do outdoor stuff as well as indoor stuff.
My son hopefully will stay with Tina and Emma until he is 5 and goes to school. I trust that they will be able to provide him with a good nursery education which I will be able to check progress in his learning diary that they keep upto date.
I cant say enough good things about what my son has in this daycare and I fully recommend them.

Emma and Tina have been the registered childminder for my son for over two years now. Everything about the care that they provide is nothing short of excellent; the setting, communication, reliability, educational and developmental work they provide for the children in their care is second to none.
My child has truly thrived while in their care in all aspects of his development and personality and I cannot recommend them enough.

My little one has been with this childminder for coming up to 4 years. Emma and Tina provide a lovely, learning, fun and safe environment and I have never had any worries when leaving my child in their care.
He has made some amazing friends and had a fantastic relationship with both Emma and Tina, I really couldn’t ask for more.
Always happy to go and that speaks volumes!

My son has been with Emma and Tina for nearly 1 year now and my daughter also goes after school. I have never met a childminder as genuine and caring as both of them. I trust my children with them 100% and would recommend them to anyone looking for a childminder.
They have accommodated me with me in more ways I could possibly imagine and I am eternally grateful for everything they do for my family every day.

My son has been with Emma and tina now for nearly a year and I have to say that they both have been excellent. They provide a safe and secure but homely environment for the children and ensure they are well entertained and looked after. I have not had one issue whilst my son has been in their care and cannot recommend them more highly to anyone seeking a new childcare provider. Thank you both for your time and care for Aaron.
