Nurturing and Caring!

Shafaq and Kamal Khan have been the childminders for my 5 year old son for a month now but I feel like I have known them for a lifetime! When I approached them with the task of taking care of my little one while I had to be a full time working mom, they not only took him under their fold but they also helped me with the various challenges I had to face including my work timings. They are extremely nurturing and gentle, and if you are searching for childminders who can provide a safe and loving haven away from home while you are at work, then Shafaq and Kamal are the place to go. My son is always smiling and active when he comes home. Shafaq and Kamal understand the gentle balance between activities and rest and make sure that children get a little of both. They send me frequent updates about my son and daily pictures of his activities. Once you bring your child into Shafaq and Kamal's care, you will never feel like shifting to another childminder. Both Shafaq and Kamal complement each other in offering exceptional all-rounded care for children.

Happy to find you

Shafaq and Kamal has been our childminder for our kid from he was 18 months old till now(who is starting his school this September). Little one likes to be around Shafaq and Kamal and they have various activities planned throughout the day to keep him engaged, like story time, arts and crafts, music time, outdoor play/local parks/indoor play areas depending on the climate.

Get everyday updates while picking up (both verbal and written) and used to have a folder with kids photo's laminated with various activities he does through out the year which is very exciting to watch them what they do.


Though the little one is a fussy eater, Shafaq takes the time to make sure he completes the food or provides with an alternative food if he refuses to eat what was provided by mummy. Little one likes to be around Shafaq and was never a problem dropping him at Shafaq's place.

I have always found Shafaq and Kamal to be very accomodating and understanding as per the situation. With our work pattern and once when we need to rush to hospital, Little one was left with Shafaq till late evening. They were very helpful and understanding and was with us through out.

I was very happy sending little one to Shafaq and Kamal. We know our son is in safe hands.

Fantastic!!

My little daughter has been going to Shafaq & Kamal for the last 2 years now and I'm more than pleased with their service.

"They are very professional ,caring& devoted to their job". My daughter absolutely loves going to their home which for many parents is so reassuring.

They provide a lovely homely environment for the children& very caring towards eating habits for every child.

I would highly recommend them to any parent looking for a safe & loving environment for their child.

Great Childminers

Hi . My twins started with Shafaq & Kamal in 2016. I went to see many Childminder's and Shafaq & Kamal were the ones I knew my twins would be happy with . They have a clean home and environment for the children . A different range of toys and activities they do with my twins .

My twins are happy with them and often talk about what they did . Shafaq and Kamal accommodate me when I need extra days or if the twins need to be at nursery earlier for due to football or if I need to drop them off earlier .

I provide food but if the twins for any reason do not eat they will also make sure they don't go hungry and give them an alternative of their own .

I get updates and feedback on the twins.

I would recommend Shafaq and Kamal to people who are looking for Childminder's for their children because you know your children will be looked after and happy .

Excellent

We started sending our son to Shafaq and Kamal since Nov 2016, he is ever since very happy. I was very much worried if he would settle in well, however to my surprise Shafaq and Kamal managed him very well during the initial days and the settling in period was very smooth. My son has a big smile while entering their house which makes us feel comfortable as a parents.
With regard to food, they provide the children food on time and encourage them to compete their food.

The child care settling is very clean and I have seen high standards being maintained.

During the day they are involved in many activities with the children which includes storytelling, identifying shapes/colours, painting, play dough modelling, music and dance. We have notices that encourage kids to participate and kids just enjoy with these activities.

They also take kids for outing like Burnham beaches, kids indoor play area etc once a while so kids feel the change. I have felt that our son enjoys the out with Shafaq aunty and Kamal uncle.

They have also been flexible with hours during instances when I had to work late and my husband was out of country.
So far we are very pleased with the service provided by the lovely couple and would highly recommend them.

One thing I know is that my child is safe when he is with them and that gives us peace of mind.

RE: Shafaq & Kamal Khan.

Shafaq & Kamal Khan has been looking after our Son since 2012 and we couldn't recommend them enough. In the beginning we were very worried but Shafaq really made us feel very comfortable. After dropping our son early morning and rushing back to work she used to send us text messages to let us know how our Son was doing. This had helped us a lot during his first few weeks while he was with Shafaq.

Shaheer loves going to Shafaq’s house and has learnt so many things whilst being with Shafaq. She provides a lot of activities like art & craft, painting and drawings etc. We love all the creative art & craft stuff he comes home with. Shaheer is very happy boy and we feel relaxed & confident knowing that when we drop him off in the morning he is safe and will be looked after.
Shafaq is very hard working and talented child-minder and her own children are lovely, polite and well mannered. She makes each day so much fun and exciting for kids. It is such a great relief going to work knowing that our little boy is having such a great day.

Sending Shaheer to Shafaq has been the best choice we could have made. Shaheer loved being at Shafaq and still does 4 years later. Shafaq looked after Shaheer from the age of 18 months for over three years. She took him regularly to toddler group, the playground and to the library and also outdoor trips. We don’t hesitate to highly recommend Shafaq & Kamal as a great child-minder to other parents. We Can not pay enough thanks to both for their continuous support all the way from beginning and till now.

Re: Shafaq and Kamal.

We are very pleased to say that both Shafaq and Kamal are very good childminder. Our older daughter who is 7 used to go to them and she loved it. She had lots of things to do at their place and we had piece of mind. There was not a single day that either our daughter or we were concerned. They are very professional at the same time had all the parental skills to keep a child happy and content. Our younger boy aged 2 also goes their now and he always looks forward to go there in the morning. He has made very good overall progress learning new things and made friends as well. We always find the kids happy and playful.

Shafaq and Kamal both are very emphatic and are of good nature. They always find time to talk to parents amidst their tight schedule. They do not hesitate to go extra mile to support the parents for day to day child minding by sometimes picking and dropping the child when you really stuck! One of the things that we have found very helpful and extraordinary about their efforts to make folders of the children with pictures and captions! This is like a life story of your child in a snap shot while you are at work and perhaps you missed the most amazing time they had during the day! No doubt, we feel this is an invaluable asset to you and your child in the time to come. We are highly satisfied with their work and would highly recommend as to what they do as childminder.

Excellent!!!

Kamal & Shafaq… What can I say beautiful people both inside and out.
My little girl started going when she was around 1 ½ - 2 years old and is now 4 ½ and still loves going back. Anayah has grown up there and has felt very much at home. She has received an enormous amount of love, care and affection in a home setting. Not only this, but she has come a long way with her speech, education and physical learning. My daughter is a bright intelligent little girl and I praise Kamal and Shafaq for helping me with this.
Amazing couple and would recommend them to anyone looking for a child minder in the Cippenham area ?
