The best childminder

Nabila has looked after my firstborn from 16 months until school age and later my twins from 7 months until they started school this month (so almost 5 years!). From the moment we met Nabila, she demonstrated excellent safeguarding, she didn't let strangers into her setting to meet her or expose them to the children she was caring for - This was unlike other practitioners I spoke to at the time. I knew from this professionalism, she would be right for us. Nabila is very qualified and incredible at what she does.

I was so worried about trusting anyone with my children at first, my oldest didn't seem to take to nursery settings as she started at 16 months which is why we originally opted for an Ofsted registered childminder. I wanted someone who would take my children out daily on outings, feed them home-cooked food from different cultures (we are a mixed race family) and give them 1-1 time. We loved the energy and home-cooked meals Nabila made for the girls including factoring their dietary requirements (vegetarians). This all paid off because my girls love their food, they have a positive relationship with it to this day and will eat anything as long as it is cooked well and "with love" - from artichokes to tagine. Nabila is an amazing cook and really looks at their needs and supports what is done at home. She gets them involved in preparing to cook where possible (pasta salad!) which the girls speak fondly about to this day. They have excellent manners and help us at home due to the patience, boundaries and love they are given in this setting.

When it came to nappy training I was full of anxiety from the day they were born. The twins weren't having it when we had tried. Nabila knew and understood our girls well when they were ready and how to handle this and they were toilet-trained within a week thanks to all her guidance and patience - well in advance of starting school.

Nabila has gone above and beyond to support our family. The girls feel safe and loved by Nabila and her family. Our girls have a lot of energy and Nabila always took them out most days to activities at the library, getting books, the children's centre and weekly to the forest school - which they adored. They love going to 'Bila's' and as a parent, it's been reassuring knowing that they are so happy and loved when they are not home with us. Their learning and social communication skills are great for their age, because of the dedication Nabila has to looking after children and focusing on their needs.

One of my twins was diagnosed autistic while in Nabila's care and I found her incredibly supportive when we at times struggled, and she quickly drew up a support plan, underwent more training and helped my daughter hit milestones socially which I thought my daughter wouldn't be able to do so soon - even going so far as to writing her own name.

Everything about Nabila's setting is outstanding, I can't say it enough. She is easy to talk to and listens to feedback and has an incredible level of knowledge and understanding which has helped us so much as parents. Thank you Nabila for all your support over the years and getting our girls to where they are now. I just can't thank you enough.

Fantastic!

Nabila is amazing! My little boy was so happy while going to her setting. He was always well looked after, fed with proper healthy food and entertained. She kept perfect track of his development and kept us up to date with the activities. Nabila followed up on whatever requests we may have had, she is warm and very professional. The setting is incredibly clean and well maintained, her whole family is lovely. She also looked after him during the night and he was so calm with her, she felt like part of our family.
We will truly miss her, but we had to move... All the best Nabila and thank you for everything!!

Amazing

Nabila is been childminder of my daughter for more then a year now. My baby loves her and her daughters, she is flexible when i need and she as oportunity. Very reliable, responsible and always checking my baby development. She also takes her to activities and speaks at least 2 languages with her. What is great as we are bilingual to.

Excellent Childminder

I have been extremely happy with the care my son has received during the 6 months period, and the great progress he has made whilst in Nabila's care. Her home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and my son has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care.
She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor interactions and take children to regular Children Center sessions.
Nabila is a great communicator and she helped my son to gain confidence and therefore encouraging a good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others.When my child steps outside his boundaries she responds with firm but kind discipline explaining what we would like to see in terms which he understands. I truly recommend a great and reliable childminder.

Brilliant & Outstanding Childcare Provider

My daughter really enjoyed this setting with Nabila. The setting was versatile, diverse and suitable from baby to all primary school ages. I was impressed by the genuine duty of care and the time and effort invested in my daughter's welfare and growth. Nabila was more than just a 'babysitter. My daughter had a mentor and someone who encouraged a positive metal attitude, recognition of self worth and growth. The setting is very well organised so that different age groups are engaged in appropriate activities. Nabila's approach to discipline is firm but fair, encouraging respect and manners.A very inspirational role model for children to be around. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity for my daughter to be part of this setting.
