Dear Family,
Hello there! I am a 30 year old female. I was born and brought up in London by my Maltese mother and Nigerian father. Family has always been very important to me and my family and we have always been very close. I fully understand Maltese and can speak it on a basic level. I have a Bachelors degree in English Language and Linguistics. I have a paediatrics first aid certificate and DBS as well as a considerable amount of experience working with children; as a babysitter, a childminders assistant and a teaching assistant and have thoroughly enjoyed it all. I am a fully qualified counsellor now and work as one remotely part-time for a charity. Looking to continue nannying alongside it.
My Experience
I worked abroad (in Paris) during my gap year before university, in a children's camp (PGL Travel: 11-16 year olds). Getting to have so much fun, living and working with the children through conducting countless activities, it made for a wonderful 6 months that I worked there.
I was then a teaching assistant in a private girls primary school (4-11 year olds) and thereafter as a childminding assistant (0-5 year olds).
Alongside studying in recent years I have nannied babies (2 months - 18 month olds) ranging from 3 hour shifts to 14 hour shifts, including night nannying. I have also looked after a 6, 10 and 15 year old after school - helping support their needs alongside play.
I'm currently looking for a part-time role to begin from Dec 2024/Jan 2025.
