About Me
Hi, my name is Claire and I live in School Aycliffe with my husband and 3 children, aged 12, 11 and 8 years old. We also have a friendly labrador called Albie who is 2 years old. I have been a registered childminder for over 5 years and care for children of all age ranges. I am an honest, reliable person who would offer a home from home environment where I can support children to learn, grow and develop in a safe, fun, happy way.
My home provides a warm and friendly environment. I have a playroom which will be dedicated to the children I care for, which has a wide variety of toys for all age ranges. I also have an enclosed, secure garden with lots of outdoor space and toys.
I currently attend playgroups, pre school gymnastics and Hartbeeps with the children I care for.
My Experience
I have worked for 15 years as a paediatric staff nurse. In this time I have cared for babies and children ranging from newborn to 18 years old with a variety of needs and requirements. I really enjoy caring for children and understand the pressures of finding childcare especially with shift work and with this in mind decided to start childminding. I have completed the Pacey home based childminding course, a Paediatric first aid course and a safeguarding children course.

BTEC National Diploma in Health Science
National Diploma in Nursing Studies
CACHE level 3 in Preparing to be a Home-based Childcare with Pacey

My Availability
Full and Part time vacanies avaliable
My working hours are 07.30 till 17.30, Monday to Friday however can be flexible.
School drops offs and pick ups available at Heighington School.
