My Experience
I have previously worked in a nursery setting for 15+ years. I have excellent knowledge of the EYFS stages of development and have first hand experience of helping children to reach their individual developmental milestones through fun, engaging activities. During my time in the nursery settings I worked extremely well as part of a team to care for a class of up to 21 children. During the fifteen years I worked with age groups ranging between 6 months-5 years.
From July 2017 to November 2021 I had been working as an OFSTED registered Nanny caring for two young boys. I was initially employed to care for one child aged 16 months, now 5 years old. Along with caring for his younger brother since February 2020. I also relocated with the family when needed. My daily responsibilities were:
- Caring for the daily needs of two small children (dressing, bathing, feeding, entertaining, preparing and carrying out activities, potty training, etc)
- Daily household chores (laundry, meal prep, shopping, ironing, tidying, etc)
- Babysitting when needed
Starting in January 2022 I had been working as a Nanny, caring for a young boy of 12 months. Sadly the family relocated and my position came to an and in July 2022. My daily responsibilities were:
- Caring for the daily needs of the child (dressing, feeding and play activities)
- Light household duties (Vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom
- Running errands
From September 2022- August 2023 I was working two days a week as a Nanny for two girls, the eldest aged 3 years and her baby sister 9 weeks. My daily responsibilities were:
- Caring for the daily needs of the children (dressing, feeding, bathing, ect)
- Attending music classes
- Washing and ironing
- Shopping
- Nursery pick up
From September 2023- July 2024 after the previous family relocated I had been holding a temporary two day Nanny position caring for two boys aged 11 months and 3.5 years. My daily responsibilities were:
- Caring for the daily needs of the children
- Washing and light household duties
- Nursery pick up
- Attending classes and playgroups
From September 2024 I started looking after two children. A little girl aged 3 years and her younger brother of 10 months. My daily responsibilities are:
- Caring for the daily needs of the children (dressing, feeding, bathing, ect)
- Attending toddler groups/play centres
- Washing
- Shopping
- Nursery pick up on occasion
