My Summary
About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2002. I work closely with parents to ensure continuity of care with parents' practices and children's routines. I strive to accommodate parents' wishes and aim to be flexible in meeting the needs of different children and their families. I offer a homely, family environment where children can feel secure, included and happy.
I am able to take government funding for 2 or 3-4 year olds for either 15 or 30 hours . I am registered with the government Tax Free Childcare scheme. I can also take student funding from universities or colleges.
My Experience
Over the years I have dealt with many families and have encountered a huge variety of different children with varying needs. I spent over ten years working as a specialist childminder supporting teen parents. I have cared for children with a range of medical conditions, disabilities, learning difficulties, allergies and food intolerances. I am happy to work with parents to provide suitable care for all children whatever their cultural, religious, gender or social background. I am willing to work with parents to provide an appropriate diet to meet the need of children with medical, religious, or other special requirements.
I am happy to provide references and copies of my certificates on request. Feel free to contact me with any further questions.

Caroline has been our childminder for 10yrs this coming year... I was introduced to Caroline by the teen Parent partnership program.. she has worked with all my four children.. she’s dealt with my sons Fructose malabsorption it was a hard and challenging time for me as a parent especially being a young mum but Caroline dealt with the whole situation in her stride.. his meals his dietary requirements.. and has always continued to support me and my children.. my youngest daughter who was 9 weeks early Caroline has her full time and she is flourishing.. she goes on days out every week she goes to the zoo beacon fell.. Grizedale Forest.. she loves the park my daughter gets to grow and learn new things every week and its all thanks to Caroline for the ever continuing support and care to take to my daughter and children the They are just lovely kids thank you always
We found Caroline over 5 years ago when I was returning to work from my first maternity leave. Having visited some nurseries as soon as we set foot through Caroline’s door we knew she was exactly what we wanted for our son. Subsequently we’ve also sent our second son to her. We feel that Caroline supports us as parents in what we want for our children, she provides advice and help when needed and has been an invaluable part of our children’s upbringing. We’ve found Caroline firm but fair, which is how we raise our children in the home. Caroline speaks in depth with us about any issues, positive or negative and offers help and advice. I cannot praise her highly enough. The children get healthy food, lots of stimulation and days out and most importantly lots of love and support. Caroline is simply wonderful.
I contacted Caroline as I was struggling to leave my very wingey baby with anyone as too worried she’d drive them mad! Caroline couldn’t have put me at any more ease that everything would be ok and kept me updated throughout, she really is wonder woman and now my daughter happily puts her arms out and thoroughly enjoys her days with Caroline and comes home so tired after usually spending the day playing and visiting different places - so happy I put my trust in Caroline x
Both my children have been looked after by Caroline from an early age.
The setting is excellent couldn't ask for better. My children love going to
Caroline's as its like a home from home.
Caroline provides a large variety of activities and walks/ outings.
Caroline is caring, friendly and has made sure both our
children were happy and settled every time we dropped them off.
I very much recommend her to anyone looking for childcare.
I can not recommend caroline enough! she helped me out when my original childminder let me down in july, she took on my daughter for two days a week while i went to work and college. caroline is a lovely lady with a lovely home, she looks after the children and cares for there needs amazingly. my daughter loves seeing caroline and the other children weekly. my daughter is 11 months and she been with caroline and built a lovely bond with her.
