About Me
Hi, My name is Jade. I am a mum of two and my youngest child is 1. During the time that I spent off with my children, I realised the passion that I have for being around and working with children; which led to me deciding to take on a full time career doing what I love.
A normal week for us will include going to; playgroups, Tiny Talk (children's signing class), Bongo Bongo (musical instruments, signing and dancing), going out and having adventures in the woods and at the park, getting messy doing arts and crafts and reading lots of books. We also do things such as visiting the farm, going to wheelgate, swimming and visiting the local library for rhyme time. I believe that children should have a good understanding of healthy eating and exercise. I prepare and cook healthy balanced meals and will always encourage the children to be involved and learn about the preparation.
I live with my husband, two children and cat. Our home is friendly and welcoming; I strive to create a safe, comforting environment that will enable children to learn, develop and express themselves as unique individuals.
I am based in Sherwood Rise/ New Basford, and am available for school pick ups and drop off in the surrounding area.
My Experience
I have two children aged 1 and 2 years. This alone has given me an immense amount of hands on practical experience.
I completed my degree in Health and Social Care, with Advice, Guidance and counselling and also have my Level three CeMap qualification in financial services. My past experiences have required me to deal with people from all backgrounds, with varied needs and abilities. I have a lot of experience in building positive rapport with people quickly

Jade is our childminder and simply put, I wouldn’t want anyone else to look after our little boy. Jade made going back to work so easy for me, when it could have been the hardest thing to do. From the moment we met her, I knew instantly she was the right person. Jade is super organised, approachable, reliable, friendly and most importantly she is an amazing mother to her two wonderful children. Jade puts in so much effort with all the children she looks after. It’s the little things she does which make it so special. I always feel that Bodhi is doing something fun, and that she is helping him grow into a creative and confident little boy. Jade’s input into his little world in the last eight months has been amazing. He loves going to her house, he claps when he gets to her door. She keeps us updated through the day with pictures and videos which brightens up our day. I have come to see Jade and her wonderful family as friends, and such an important part of our lives. I could not ask for anything more.
