EMPLOYMENT
Twice Times Montessori Nursery School Fulham October 2012- Current
It has been a fun year working in a Montessori setting seeing their different approach to learning and understanding and implementing it has taught me a lot and I have enjoyed my experience there. I am well organised and some of my responsibilities included organising activities which are age appropriate, preparing snack, filling out risk assessments making the sure the building is safe for the children to be in, supervising and preparing lunch, filing paperwork, writing observations filling out record of ach9evemnt folders, changing nappies and helping with self-care. I have again learnt so much which i will take with me and implement elsewhere.
Wraparound Nursery Fulham JAN 2011- October 2012
Working in a nursery environment I have learnt a lot about the EYFS and how it is implemented in the workplace. My responsibilities included being second in charge of the preschool room, making sure planning was done and it related to the observations that were being made. To ensure the safety of the children and make sure all policies and procedures were being met. I also had to make sure risk assessment was done and that age appropriate activities were set up for the children. I also ensured that I had a good working relationship with the parents as it important for them to communicate if they have worries or concerns about their children. I also worked closely with my key children to make sure they are at the development stage they need to be at, and if there was any way to help them if they were not.
Nanny/ PA Raynes Park September 2010 –Feb 2011
My responsibilities included; picking up the children from school, preparing evening meals, helping them with their homework, playing with them and organising activities, bathing them and getting them ready for bed. I also done light house work and arranged play dates. I really enjoy working with children and have a great level of understanding when it comes to their development and needs. I also helped mum with administration and invoices. I was also very flexible and willing to help anyway possible. Often done extra babysitting duties over the weekend.
Work Experience May 2010
Rosedale Residential Home Mitcham
I worked at Rosedale residential home as work experience as I thought it would broaden my knowledge of the social care system. My duties were to communicate and interact with the adult service users one to one, help them eat, serve them food, assist them when going to the toilet and helping them with their day to day needs. I did find this work experience very beneficial as I learnt a lot and got the opportunity to put theory into practise. I learnt to be more open, which I think ids one of the reasons I got such a good report for my Manager there.
Play worker 2008-2009 – (school holidays-Voluntary)
YMCA, Wimbledon the Broadway Wimbledon, London, SW19 1RY,
Following a short voluntary position of Nursery assistant in 2007 at Pelham Primary School, I decided to do something a little more challenging and applied for the position of voluntary play worker at the YMCA. I had a lot of fun doing this, and feel I learned a lot about children and child care, Some of my responsibilities would include, organising and supervising activities as well as involving myself in activities, making sure everyone had gone to the toilet before snack time, organising snack time, and accompanying children whilst out on trips.

To whom it may concern
Children are my passion and nothing makes me happier than seeing them develop. This is what motivates me, and that is the reason I am applying for the position. They fascinate and interest me and I love being able to think of new creative ideas for them to experiment and take part in.
I am a bubbly character who is happiest when working with children and I will always strive to better myself to fulfil my full potential. I have a lot of experience in child care with a wide range of ages, from new borns right through to eleven year olds, a lot of which was voluntary, but all of which I enjoyed. My communication skills are exemplary and I posses a real ability to connect with children on their own level. I am a fun, organised person who can adapt to most situations. I have great understanding of the children's development and the way they behave and react. I worked as an assistant at Pelham primary school to increase my knowledge of children and their needs.
I am a very capable and competent person who has exceptional interpersonal skills, which makes me an outstanding candidate for a host of positions working with children. I am extremely hard working and enthusiastic character who is trustworthy and reliable. I enjoy meeting new people and have developed great communication skills and confidence during my work placements over my time working with children. I use my own initiative and always work to the best of my ability. My motto in life is “never give up and believe in yourself”. I have since gained so much expereince talking and forming relationships with parents and informing and updating them on their childs progress. Furthermore I regularly communicate with my fellow colleagues about the children and if there are any special requirements for them. I really enjoy working as part of a team and planning for the children, bringing new ideas to the table.
I have achieved a lot over the last ten years, having increased my knowledge of children, how they develop and how best to support their needs. I have put into practise everything I have learned working in childcare for the last 10 years and it has benefited my career progression and personal development. Hope worked for us as a nanny providing childcare during the holidays in 2021. Hope is fantastic with children. She is easy to communicate with as she has a very friendly personality and is very easy to get along with. She has lots of energy and ideas and loved playing and doing arts and crafts with my kids. Both my kids really had so much fun with her. Hope is also a very good cook and was more than happy to help out with other tasks around the house. Hope is a confident driver and was able to help me with pick ups and drop offs to holiday clubs with no issues at all. Hope was a great help to me during that period and I highly I recommend her as a nanny.
I have employed Miss Hope on a number of occasions during the period of 2014-2016. There were times I needed summer help and times that I employed her full-time as a nanny. I have a daughter who was born in 2012 and we relied upon Miss Hope to help us.
We originally met Miss Hope through a licensed daycare centre and we were so impressed with her that we contracted her privately.
Miss Hope is a kind and caring nanny. We love her very much.
There are a number of attributes that make Miss Hope special.
First, she is kind and caring and she was vested in the development of our daughter. This included homework, general play and one-to-one interaction. What I liked about Miss Hope was that she was very proactive in helping our daughter network with other parents/ children in organising play dates. As a full-time working parent, this was very important to us to ensure our daughter transitioned from different schools (from day care to preparatory school at different institutions). She has a positive attitude and works well with other parents/ nannies to ensure play dates were not 'one-offs.'
Miss Hope has endless energy, which is critical with young children. Our daughter (as well as her classmates) love Miss Hope very much.
She is a good cook and knows how to make healthy food.
We found here to be on-time and reliable.
I cannot speak for Miss Hope in working with families with multiple children (we have one daughter), but professionally speaking, I would not anticipate this to be a problem.
