About Me
I am an Network Plus (Accredited), Ofsted registered childminder and a Pacey (NCMA) member in the Southchurch – Southend area.
I provide breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as healthy snacks. I strive to ensure that all meals are healthy and balanced. Milk and water is freely available, fresh juice offered occasionally.
I provide a range of indoor and outdoor toys and activities to stimulate and captivate growing minds. I have a dedicated playroom and 2 separate secure outdoor play areas, each with a wide variety of toys and equipment for use We are close to local amenities and have good transport links available in the area.
We regularly visit local shops (green grocers, butchers and bakers) and attend weekly playgroups and as we are close to the park and beach we ensure to included these locations in our fun sessions. I my setting I encourage sharing, good manners, respect and kindness of all the children in my care.
My Experience
I am a fully registered, qualified childminder with almost 9 years experience working with children and families. I have been fortunate have children from the full range of ages under my care, I am a conscientious carer who ensures the children in my care the best support and guidance to develop in aspects a young mind needs to flourish.
I take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, child friendly home. I have a 10 year old little girl of my own, she is a lovely outgoing friendly child who loves socializing with the children in my care. I am very dedicated to to my career of choice, I love working with children and I enjoy seeing them change and develop as they grow. I offer a wide range of experiences for the children to enjoy and learn from.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Level 3 in Home-based Childcare, as well as a Level 3 in Communication with under 5’s. I am accredited, which enables me to accept government funding.
I also hold a up to date Pediatric First Aid Certificate and certificates in Food Hygiene, Behavior Management, Safeguarding Children, Playing Together and Talking to Under 5’s, amongst others (please see my Full Training schedule on the next tab).
I am currently working to complete my Level 3 in Forest Schooling, which will be followed by Montessori accreditation.
My Availability
Working hours: 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
