My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Amy and I am a Nanny and pre-school practitioner in Howden.
Only accepting babysitting jobs.
I am a happy and reliable individual and I live with my partner, I love all things sensory and crafts and enjoy going on outings to the parks and woods for nature walks. I have worked with children for 8years and still haven't fallen out of love with it.
Fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and Influenza.
I am a Level 3 early years qualified and have 8 years experience working with children from placements, volunteering, employment within the education sector ,Nannying and babysitting. I definitely feel that these experiences have made me realise that working with children is what I love to do and think my personality is suited to any workplace/home that involves children.
Working within different age stages in preschool, schools and Nannying I have built good relationships with the children and now understand in more detail about child development, I also have the skills to observe and record children’s development accurately and confidently, plan appropriate activities and go out to different environments to further children’s development.
I am no longer Ofsted registered but still prefer to work at Ofsted’s regulations and school procedures. I know how to carry out risk assessments and have knowledge of food hygiene and different food allergies to ensure the safety of the environment and children at all times. I have completed safeguarding, paediatric first aid course and so these will aid with keeping children and parents safe. I am also willing to further my own knowledge by doing more courses if necessary.
I have good time management, organisational skills and I am extremely flexible with working hours needed. I love organising activities and ooutingsfor the children to do and create.

Amy is my nanny since August.
She is a lovely person, very friendly and attentive, my twins love her.
Easy to communicate with, very patient and always keeps the kids occupied with different activities.
She has always turned up for work in time, very reliable and also flexible with her time.
She has all the relevant qualifications to take care of children and I know I can go off to work and dont have to worry about the twins because they are in good hands!
I am so happy that I have given her this job, I know I couldnt have find a more suitable person.
Highly recommended!
I’ve known Amy for several years. As deputy head at ST Bede’s primary school, I have known Amy throughout her training as a teaching assistant. She is extremely hard working and lovely with the little ones.
Amy had recently baby sat for my 5 year old and 7 week old baby. Highly recommend.
