About Me
Ofsted OUTSTANDING. CRB checked, experienced, flexible, specially designed play room for children. My aim is to provide a homely, caring, stimulating environment for every child. I believe every child deserves the best possible start in the life. Every youngster is equal but treated with an individual approach, according to their needs and stage of development. In my opinion the first three years of the
child's life are the most important and every child needs as much stimulation as possible. The environment in my setting allows children to explore, discover and make choices. By focusing on continued quality improvement, I am making sure that all my children I care for benefit from high quality experience.
I do more than just look after children. I work very hard with them, developing and challenging them every minute of everyday, with a 100% face to face contact and 1:1, something you won't be able to find at nurseries. I follow the Early Years Foundation Program, carefully planning every activity and observing children very carefully. This allows me to know exactly what our next step will be and what we have to work on. I do believe that introducing new language at an early age opens up a world of opportunity for children. Bilingual children become more flexible at learning other languages and I would say that learning a foreign language at an early age changes the brain’s way of memorization and critical thinking skills extended well beyond just learning languages. In my setting children are exposed to other languages on a daily basis .
My husband recently joined my profession and is now working with me full time as a registered childminder. Thanks to that we can provide balanced female/male care which is very important especially for busy families where parents work long hours, single parent families or the same sex parents.
My Experience
Our days are packed with different activities. Regular visits to the Zoo, Sea life Centre, singing and music classes , toddlers groups, reading and rhyme sessions in library, little exploras and messy play sessions at our local Children's Centre.
With our big garden full of toys, there are endless possibilities of things to do.
There is never time to waste here and definitley not to be bored! I am passionate about children’s education, child’s psychology. This helps me to understand better how each child thinks , plays , behaves also how can I help children to grow , play , learn and achieve the best .As we are small setting, we work on one to one basis , which means we know by heart every child’s interest , likes dislikes , stage of the development. Our daily activities are carefully planned according to the individual child's progress or interest.
Over the last few years I have really enjoyed providing rich, varied and imaginative experiences for the children . I take a positive approach to learning and encourage yungsters to develop the characteristics of effective learning. With activities and outings designed to help children to think critically, be active and creative learners, all in all I feel that everything is really working well . I have happy children, having fun and being stimulated and challenged . I feel happy that I am providing the best possible care for the children with the best possible impact on the children’s learning and development. Childrnen leave my setting well prepared for school or whatever their next stage of life.
My Qualifications
I am committed to improving my knowledge and gaining new qualification. I am passionate about child psychology, speech and language development. I love learning, finding new ways, ideas and implementing them in my setting. I am proactive and making sure my knowledge is current and I can follow best practice. Recently I have completed various courses and trainings for example

• ICAN EARLY TALK working with 0-3 babies , toddlers speech language and communication development

• 2 year old grant mandatory training ( Child Development, Assessment, Intervention, communication and intervention with parents)
• My paediatric first aid and safeguarding qualification are up to date.My last OFSTED inspection awarded me Outstanding grade in all arears.
I am educated to the degree level. I can speak few languages and share my passion for languages with children I care for. My own children are multilingual and I can see a huge impact in their development and every day life . I am passionate about child’s psychology and development.I highly encourage every child to learn a second language from an early age. We often have french, spanish, drama and dance lessons .
In my free time I attend different courses about child’s development , read various publications talk to other professionals . I am a forest school member and believe children learn the best with hands on expiennce .

I was first time mummy who had to go back to work when my little girl was 6 months. I was very nervous to leave my baby with anybody ! Until I met Iwona and Adrian ! As soon I i walked through the door I felt comfortable, relaxed. Children have they own lovely play room. Iwona is very professional , knowable , expirence child minder. Children are very happy, well looked after , confident and enjoy every minute being there . There are lot of acitivites to choose from and very ,, hands on ,, learning and exploring. I love when my daughter comes back home and tells me how busy she was and all about new adventures at the zoo or in the forest . She is three years old now , she knows all the phonics , numbers , can add the numbers , knows every story you can think of ! She is very a clever confident little girl definitely ready for school and that's all thanks to Iwona and Adrian. They are the best!
