About Me
Currently, OPEN only for Key Children
Ofsted registered Childminder, I live with my one-year-old daughter and husband in a brand new built home. I am passionate about early years education and believe I can provide a friendly nurturing environment where children can learn through play. My dedicated indoor and outdoor space includes a spacious playroom with lots of natural light and access at all times to the garden. I actively promote child-led activities and we regularly attend playgroups, parks, libraries and so on. I work with a lovely assistant who is currently completing her Level 3 in Childcare.

My Experience
Over 10 years of experience working in early years and primary education. I started my career working in nurseries, floating from each room. This allowed me to gain experience with very young babies to very talkative 4-year-olds! My partner and I have moved and travelled to various different places in the country before we bought a home and settled in Shaftesbury. This again allowed me to work in a mixture of places from nurseries, schools, and holiday clubs. I have also for a short term worked for an agency working in different educational settings.
My most recent job was working as HTLA in a Reception for over 2 years before I went on maternity leave. I really enjoy working with children and observing them learn new things and reach new milestones. It was a natural progression moving into childminding, particularly since having my daughter and moving to Shaftesbury.
EYFS is my passion and I continuously update my training and knowledge to best support the children in my care.
