About Me
I'm based in Colyton, East Devon and live with my husband and two girls aged 16 and 13 years old. I am Ofsted rated "Good" following my recent inspection in 2021. I live in a quiet road close to the local park with access to beautiful country side walks. My home is bright, spacious and has a wide variety of toys and outside activities for children. During the spring and summer months we also use our beach hut at Seaton beach, providing lots of outdoor learning opportunities for the children. We have a secure garden with mini beast area, mud Kitchen, swing, slide and lots of outdoor toys. I aim to provide a safe, positive and fun atmosphere for children to learn and play, with resources and activities planned around each individual childs needs and interests.
My Experience
I have been registered as a childminder since 2018 and have newborn experience, plus toddler through to school age. I have experience with early years from volunteering at my own children's primary school. I have over 20 years experience working with families and children, and before becoming a Childminder I worked for 15 years as a Midwife in London, and prior to that a nanny. I hold Paediatric first aid, DBS check, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene certificates, and regular update my practice with CPD courses.
