Ruby is a fabulous nanny....she has looked after our 3 children (age 2, 5, 8) for the last 10 months; only parting company as we are leaving the UK for a year. Throughout her time she has been 100% reliable and punctual and has been very flexible at times when we have required extra / amended hours. She is exceptionally hard working, full of energy for playing with the kids and always embracing the outdoors to keep them entertained and suitably exercised. Ruby is full of fun and is always smiling even from 7 in the morning until the moment she leaves (even on days when I know our children have been challenging!). She has clear boundaries with the children and has been consistent at instilling sensible rules and good manners whilst remaining calm. Ruby always takes initiative when she can see that jobs need doing around the house without having to be asked - emptying the dishwasher, changing the children's bed linen, sorting out their clothes drawers, etc. She always leaves our home much tidier and cleaner than she finds it! In addition and most importantly, all 3 of our children are incredibly fond of her and have loved her company throughout her time with us, always happy and usually laughing when we return from work. Plus they love her cooking (as do we - great bolognese!). In summary I would not hesitate to recommend Ruby for any childcare job that she would apply for - she has been the most wonderful asset to our family over the last 10 months and we just wish we could pack her in our suitcase!
