We are a family of 5 - mum, dad, boys aged 5 and 3 and a newborn girl (will be 8 months when the role starts). The parents work full time as a solicitor and a manager at media company and the boys will be at school. We live in a house in Streatham and are hoping to find someone reasonably local. We are happy to consider a live in position, in which case you would have the en-suite loft bedroom (on a separate floor from our bedrooms).
My Requirements
We are looking for a full time nanny over 4-5 days from September, in Streatham. We will discuss and agree precise hours with the right candidate, as they may depend on whether we are largely working from home or from the office by September. If someone already knows that their current role will end this academic year, we would love to find the right person in advance so that you can start to get to know the children with some babysitting if that suits us both.
We have 3 children who will be 5.5 years, 3.5 years and 8 months old in September. The two older boys will be at school (year 1 and nursery) full time during term time and will need wrap around care for before/after school and some weeks of the holidays, while the baby girl will be with you full time.
We’d like someone who will encourage our children’s natural curiosity and indulge their energy by taking them out to the park, etc. Someone organised to keep on top of the boys’ reading/homework and any extra curricular activities (if they have restarted!), and to arrange activities at home or at local playgroups/playgrounds etc for the baby. You will need to prepare the children’s meals, so someone who can cook simple meals confidently. A french speaker would be fantastic but is by no means essential. Driving is not essential.
