Tuesdays and Friday 9-3
Saturdays 9-1 and 18.00-22.15
Sunday 9-1 once a month
Extra hours when we’re on holiday.
Daytime and evening hours paid at £15 per hour.
This is a unique opportunity to work within our family in Upper Bucklebury to help support our incredible daughter Laura who is 20 years old.
Laura is a very happy, vibrant yet peaceful child who requires continuous one to one support. She requires help with all her daily needs including personal care, communicating and playing. She will also need assistance with physio exercises, standing, walking and other activities to facilitate her development. You will join a dedicated team of friends, family, Personal Assistants and volunteers who support Laura’s many needs.
Laura has restricted mobility and needs help moving between her daily activities. She also wears a back brace and foot splints which need to be fitted with care.
Laura is home educated and has a very dynamic and rewarding curriculum including Physio exercises and developing communication skills using MAKATON and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
Flexibility, reliability, good health and general fitness, and an enthusiasm to learn new skills are the key requirements of this role.
Training will be provided within Laura's home environment. We are hoping to have this role filled as soon as possible.
