Hey I'm Emma I am 30 years old and feel nannying is my calling.
I am NVQ2 qualified in early years and been in childcare for 6+ years! I love my job, spending time with children, being creative and spending time out doors exploring! Observing their development is such a massive reward. I have a personable approach and child led. I am very passionate about my work and reliable and I enjoy working in partnership with parents to fully cater to their children.

My Experience
I have just finished a journey with two girls now aged 7 and 10. I was their nanny for a year, the role was sole charge. Along side school runs I would manage everything including health appointments, school commitments, supporting homework and more.
Prior to the above I had a lovely boy from the age of 8 months to 1.5. During this time I had to find way to support separation anxiety and sleep train him. For two years I was in a nanny share. I started with them when they were both around 18months and was with them until they went off to nursery. Prior to this I have worked in a childminding setting for a year where i completed my level 2 in childcare. I cared for a range of ages from 6months - 3years and was doing nannying one day a week to twins. After completing my qualification I worked in nursery’s but fell inlove with nannying and have been doing that for the past 6+ years. I have also completed my First aid training which I always keep update in addition I have done safeguarding training. Certificates available upon request. I am DBS checked and ofsted registered.

I met Emma at my daughter’s Gymboree class, and she has since done ad hoc nannying for my daughter - we cannot recommend her highly enough. Emma is fun-loving and an absolute natural with children. She takes her work very seriously and demonstrates a solid understanding of development in the Early Years. She is always on the lookout for fun activities to do, be it simple crafts at home, baby/ toddler groups or soft play - and ensures my daughter is stimulated throughout the day. She is also great at helping set up and maintain sleep/ nap schedules. Any family would be very lucky to have Emma as their children’s nanny!
