Hello, my name is Sherlyn and I run Little Epiphanies Childminding from my family home in Crayford. I have two children of my own (a daughter and a son) and children in my care become part of our warm caring family unit. We have a very friendly and soppy Labrador called Willow and two cats called Lexi and Luna; which have always been around my own and other young children.
My home is with-in close walking distance to Crayford train station and local bus routes. Children will learn, develop and play in my safe, nurturing and fun home-from-home setting with play room and private garden. There are playgroups, soft play centres, shops, amenities and lots of outdoor play and learning opportunities; parks and nature reserves such as Hall Place and Dartford Heath are all on my door step; where we love to learn about and enjoy the wildlife and being part of our local community. We also like to go on adventures further afield which include farms, woodlands, zoos, castles and much more!
I have proudly been graded “Good” by Ofsted in my recent inspection.

My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since May 2018 and have always had an interest and passion for childcare and children’s wellbeing. I have been very lucky to look after some of my little ones from as young as 5 months old. I love nurturing and caring for all my kids as they explore, play, learn and grow. My experience is from having my own children, looking after family and friends children and now being a childminder. I am very proud to have recently been inspected and been graded good by Ofsted.
My Qualifications
Ofsted graded Good.
Early Years SENDCo.
HBCA level 3 qualification
NCFE Caring for children and young people level 2
Paediatric first aid and anaphylaxis trained
Food Hygiene level 2 trained
Safeguarding course completed
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and training regularly updated through webinars and online courses.
