My name is Aisha and I am a registered Childminder based in North Harrow. I work with 2 full time assistants.
My Experience
I have had over 26 years of experience, working with children from birth to 8 years. I have experience in private nursery settings also. My qualifications include NVQ Level 5, paediatric first aid, food safety, health and safety, safeguarding level 3, Makaton, working with children with additional needs and understanding food and nutrition. I have recently completed courses in managing children's behaviour and supporting children's health and well - being. We had our Ofsted inspection in June 2021 and was rated outstanding.
My Qualifications
I am qualified up to level 5 in Childcare and Education. I also have paediatric first aid, food and hygiene. I am SENCO and Makaton trained and I have a level 2 certificate in understanding nutrition, working with children with complex needs and working in partnership with parents.
My Availability
My core opening hours are from 8-6, however I can offer flexible hours to parents where needed.

Aisha pulled out two days before my daughters start date and then lied there was no availability for the foreseen future.

I’ve not got words to say how accommodating and patient Aisha has been with my LB. he is extremely strong headed and took a while to come around.
He refused to eat at the nursery but Aisha patiently worked with him and put my mind at ease. He’s on the waiting list at bright little stars and has been offered a place for a 2 out of the 4 days but I’d rather he stays here as I can see him doing well.

I have had the privilege of working with Aisha who is absolutely amazing. She is so enthusiastic and fun. She puts her heart and soul into providing the children in her care with individual care. Aisha is also incredibly professional as well as fun.
Aside from working with Aisha she also cared for my son who is now 11. He absolutely loved her and she made his time at nursery so enjoyable.
I would highly recommend Aisha to future clients and wouldn’t hesitate in having Aisha care for my future children.
