My Summary
Currently Looking For A Nanny Role And Babysitting.
About Me
Hi Parent/s, my name is Phoebe and I am 31 years old Nanny who is currently looking for a new PT Nanny position or babysitting duties within the East London area (Availability: Immediately, Mon-Friday all day, weekends all day)
I really enjoy spending time outdoors and feel that this plays a vital role in a childs development (no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing). I am lucky enough to live and have grown up in Hackney, East London, so have access to many amazing children's centers and am in walking distance to a wide variety of educational and fun places such as, The V&A Museum of Childhood, Victoria Park & Sutton House.
My hobbies and interests consist of running, visiting new places and food.
If you would like to get to know more about me then please do not hesitate to pop me over a message.
I really look forward to hearing from you :)
Phoebe.
My Experience
I am currently a Nanny to two beautiful children and have been a part of their amazing family for 7 years. Over the years I have had the pleasure of watching them grow into the young people they are today. Due to the children now being older (11 & 13), my duties are no longer required although I still assist the family where they need me. The role will be ending in January 2025.
Over the years I have provided part time childcare to the family which has consisted of many fun and educational days out, lots of at home activities, continuous support with their education including providing full time support during lockdown. This consisted of a structured, 5 days a week education plan where we worked through the curriculum provided by their schools. Despite having its challenges due to such a change in the children's routine, we as a family got through this time and the children thrived.
After school activities has been a big part of the childrens lives and have been responsible for ensuring the children attend their clubs regularly. I also drive which means I am able to take the children to where ever they need to be or collect them.
I have also provided support in the home by offering to help with ad-hoc jobs such as daily washing and I also cook the main family meal each night. I absolutely love to cook home made meals and feel that a healthy balanced diet is imperative to a childs development. I would often get the children involved in the cooking and they are now very efficient at making snacks and baking. I like to ensure the home is tidy and clean, offering some rest bite for the parents after they finish work.
I have developed a very loving and trusting relationship with the entire family and have often cared for the children over night, from weekends to a week at a time whilst mum and dad go away. I feel that despite being their nanny, I have created a loving and supportive relationship between the children and I which has led to us being very close.
I also have personal experience; looking after my niece Elise and nephew Jesse. I have cared for both since they were newborns over night and during day. This also links to my time studying to be a Midwife (unfortuantely a degree that wasn't quite right for me) where I delivered 12 babies and have accumilated lots of knowledge on newborns.
Some of the activities I like to do with Elsie and Jesse at home are, arts and crafts, baking, messy play, reading and construction. I also like to get them both outdoors and take them to day time activities such as local childrens centers, parks and farms where we learn about animals and insects (Jesse is obsessed!).
I have also gained a lot of knowledge from my Mum who has had 21 years experience as an Early Years Coordinator and Senior Family Support Worker for local aurthorities. This has given me lots of insight into key areas of child developemt including language and communication, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical development and safeguarding.

GCSE's (8 A* - C's) - Diploma to Higher Education (Access to Midwifery) - Paediactric First Aid - Safeguarding
