About Me
I am MNT Maternity Nurse and Night Nanny, trained with an Enhanced DBS check and mum to two teenagers. I am a non-smoker, swimmer, and a car owner with a full, clean driving licence.

I believe in learning through play and using some Montessori-type activities to increase both independence and confidence. I take a keen interest in child development and believe in supporting a child's individual development at their own pace - be it filling in any missing gaps to catch up or advancing the learning.skiils of more able children
I am happy with both sole charge and shared care.
I am willing to take children swimming or to local groups, and can do home-based craft, baking and outdoor activities as per parents' wishes.
I am able to cook nutritional meals for little ones and to cater for different dietary needs.

My Experience
I am a qualified and experienced MNT maternity nurse/nanny with over 25 years childcare experience, specialising in supporting the newborn to five year old age group. I have two birth children of 16 and 17 years old and as a family we were approved adopters. We have also hosted worldwide students aged 10-16 years for the last five years up to the pandemic, in our family home for short stay English family immersions.

I have special needs experience of ASD, anxiety issues, children who find change difficult, dyspraxia, speech and language delays, gifted children and the additonal needs of foster and adoptive children. I use a positive, child-focussed, therapeutic parenting style at home and in work!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Michelle as our night nanny for three weeks while staying at our second home in Cornwall. Our son, Griff, was just over two weeks old when we arrived, and having Michelle's support during this critical time was nothing short of a blessing.
Michelle’s expertise as a maternity nurse provided us with invaluable guidance and peace of mind. From day one, she brought a level of professionalism and warmth that instantly reassured us. Her punctuality was impeccable - never a minute late - allowing us to fully relax and trust that Griff was in the best possible hands.
The help she provided with night feeds was a game-changer. It allowed me to catch up on much-needed sleep and recover from the birth, which is something every new mother deserves but rarely gets. Having Michelle as our night nanny also meant that my partner and I could enjoy some quality time together such as going out for meals as a couple,knowing that Griff was being cared for with the utmost attention and care.
Michelle is not just a night nanny; she is an exceptional maternity nurse who goes above and beyond to ensure both baby and parents are comfortable and confident. Her support during the last three weeks has made a world of difference to our family, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Michelle, for everything - you are truly amazing!!!

I have had Michelle look after my two boys multiple times and she has never been a problem.
Everything’s always gone so well and the boys love when she comes over.
I can ask for the most silliest requests and she will still be here to help us out no matter what time I need her till.
She is a brilliant babysitter I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Michelle you really are great!
