At Kellys Cheeky Monkeys i have a group of very happy boys and girls already attending our setting. You will not be disappointed on visiting us; please contact me for an appointment and i will be pleased to meet you and to show you around my care setting.
As a mother I understand the demand of meeting individual needs, multi-tasking and being attentive. I encourage enthusiasm, good manners, independence and consideration for others from the children in our care. Each child receives the individual attention he or she needs to develop new skills and interests, and to discover that learning is an exciting and fun experience.
I have a caring and secure environment where children enjoy the friendship of others, have a happy and rewarding time and reach their full potential through praise and encouragement.
Please feel free to ring and ask me any questions. I'm a very warm, approachable person and will help parents as much as I possible can with any extra requests you may have regarding your child’s care.
I provide an excellent service that meets parents needs whilst ensuring a safe, caring, loving and enjoyable learning environment for the children. I have a large home with a spacious garden and plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. I regularly visit local parks, toddler groups and libraries with the children.
I offer high quality childcare in a safe, clean, secure, and homely environment. The house is well equipped, and offers indoor and outdoor activities for children. Each day at Kelly's Cheeky Monkey's children get to experience creative play amongst our many toys and enjoy group learning active to teach life skills, academics or about the world. I will update our website daily to show what the children have been doing and email photos each day to parents. Children become very excited to see what we do each day! We enjoy lots of messy play and have daily story times, sing songs and trips to the park, play groups or library. Each child is treated as an individual in my care, and I provide a portfolio book from the day they start, which highlights how they are developing and this is given to the parents when their child is no longer is my care.

During my free time I enjoy baking, crocheting and reading a good book. I also enjoy meeting up with friends and family to go out for meals and to the cinema. I am a fun, friendly and adventurous person, I love to do outdoor activities, water sports and working on my personal fitness. I enjoying participating in family fun runs and muddy runs to raise awareness and fund raise for charities.
My Experience
I believe that the following experience & skills will also assist me in providing a successful childminding service:
I have experience in looking after family and friends children from newborn babies to the age of 12.
I have been a play worker in an after school care club and organised toddler group sessions. My experiences here have given me some understanding of what is involved in providing a good quality care service.
I have the experience of being a mother of children who have been cared for by nursery, school and after school care. I am therefore able to identify areas where that particular service has been successful and try to do the same, as well as learn from areas where I feel improvements could have been made.
I have a very creative background. I will utilise my artistic talents and ideas when doing art and crafts with children.
I am a fit and active individual with plenty of energy to provide children with a stimulating environment with a wide variety of fun and educational activities.
My Qualifications
I have completed The Childminding Induction Support Program with The Scottish Childminding Association . I believe it is vitally important to continue to further my training and refresh my skills in order for me to provide a good quality childcare service.
I am currently working towards a BA Honours in Health and Social Care: Working with children and young people with The Open University. Some of the modules covered so far are:

My Availability
The current availability at Kelly's Cheeky Monkeys is Monday to Friday full time space
My normal working hours are Monday to thursday 7.30am to 5.00pm. Friday 7.30am until 4.30pm. Should you require me to provide care for your child outwith these hours please discuss this with me as I may be able to offer care.
We stay right next to Beancross Primary and Nursery for school and nursery pick up/drop offs.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Please contact us for current information about our daily rates.
Meals are prepared on a daily basis.
Breakfast and lunch and snacks provided and inclusive of fees.
We provide Milk, fruit juice and water and smoothies too.
Plenty of fruit served each day and healthy snacks.
I am a very friendly person and a good listener and will always assist you by offering you part time morning sessions or afternoon sessions.
Full time places are offered on a first come first serve basis.
Parents can also put their child's name on the waiting list.

From the moment I met Kelly I knew my son would be happy and very well looked after. Kelly put me at ease right from the start. My son loved going to Kelly’s and he was never short of things to do from outdoor activity, baking, stories, trips out to name a few. Nothing was too much and she really does have the patience of a saint. Cannot thank Kelly enough for the time she spent in my sons life and would highly recommend her.
