About Me
A cambridge university qualified science teacher with 20 plus years experience. I have worked in grammar sxhools, private sxhools and state schools. I am very enthusiastic, approachable and adaptable.
I am happy to work with kids who need extra support to reach the curriculum requirements or those who are aiming for those higher grades.
I use various techniques to find what works for a student.
Regular feedback on progress is as standard.
I am able mock examinations and give feedback in examination technique.
My Experience
Expeeiences teacher and tutor of 20 years. I have worked in a variety of schools; state, selective and private schools. I am qualified to teach science to GCSE and biology to A level. I have taught a range of pupils with regards to their ability and learning styles. I am able to quickly assess what topics or skills a pupil needs to improve upon. I can also advise on what schools should be providing to support your child. I just had a pupil whom after one session I could see had slow processing. She went to her school and followed my advise upon which she received extra time in her A level examinations; this alone increased her grade attainment by one to two grades.
I work with the pupil and their parents/guardians to ensure the pupil get the best out of each session. I constantly monitor how various teaching methods impacts on the learners progress and will readily adapt
my resources to suit that pupil.

Availability will be fixed on a weekly or fortnightly basis - whatever suits your child's needs. I can be quite flexible depending on if I am to travel to you or you to me.
