Hello families! My name is Barbara and I'm 33 years old. I'm from Brazil (I speak Portuguese, English and understand Spanish), but I've been living in the UK since 2018.
I would describe myself as calm and patient. I believe every child has a different personality and different needs, so I do my best to understand each child and provide the type of care and attention they need.
My Experience
I have 5+ years of experience working with children, both in Brazil and in the UK. In Brazil, I worked with children in 2 different daycares. When I moved to the UK, I worked as an au pair and stayed with the same family for over two years, taking care for a 10 yo girl and a baby boy. Currently, I work in a special educational needs school as a teaching assistant.
