My Summary
About Me
I am 23 years old, living in London. I started babysitting when I was 13 years old for date nights and as a mother’s helper for a newborn. As I matured I started getting part time nanny jobs when I was 16, and once I was 18 I became an almost full time nanny while I studied psychology in college. I moved 2 years ago to England to work as an au pair for a 2 and 5 year old, and I worked an extra job while I had free time as a nanny for a 6 week old baby girl. I spend my free time working out, reading psychology based books, listening to ted talks and the occasional Netflix! I absolutely love reading and am very passionate about psychology, I incorporate it in my everyday life and try to stay as aware as possible!
My Experience
I have taken courses in psychology, sociology and infant and child growth classes. I have worked with infants as Young as 6 weeks and kids as old as 13 years old but have especially worked with new borns and toddlers. I have helped with tutoring, baby lead weening, sleep training, bottle feeding, bathing, and tidying up after the children. A few of my favorite things to do while I’m with kids would be to take them on walks, go to the park, discover the world through their eyes, read books, sing songs and have dance parties!
My last family I worked with was a live in nanny in South Kensington, their daughter was 6 weeks once I started working for them and is now 1 years old, and their daughter is 11, we have become close friends and like family, and have to stop working with them due to them finding a new job in the States, but they are more than pleased to speak with anyone about having me as their nanny.
My Qualifications
I have completed courses involving the growth and development of infants and toddlers up to 5 years old.
My Availability
I am currently looking for a live out nanny position based in either Guildford or London. I am hoping to find a job for a minimum of 6 months but hoping for long term! I do not have a UK license, so I will not be able to take a job that requires driving.

Angele was lovely with the children and was a nice enough person to have around the house - but then turned out to be really unreliable and unprofessional.
She said she felt 'really happy' with our family and had a 'great time' on the Friday and reviewing her first week with us, but then told us at 22.30 on the Sunday evening (yesterday) via a message that she wasn't going to come back on the Monday. My children (2 and 5) are understandably devastated, and we, the parents, (full time professionals) are in a complete mess work-wise because of the lack of childcare at such short notice.
I assume she has secured a more lucrative offer elsewhere, but there is really no excuse for such behaviour from someone who works in this field; it's a breach of contract, breach of trust, and breach of her fundamental responsibility as a nanny towards the children.

Response by Angele on 05/02/2019:
I understand your disappointment, I enjoyed my time I had with the kids, I would’ve stayed for them had the environment not been as regulating.
Unfortunately the atmoshphere was extremely controlling, with parents enforcing power play for the kids which goes against my ethics. For example, it was insisted for the kids to address me as “Nanny Angèle”, further degrading me and showing I am a worker. I was told to send pictures as well as a description whenever the kids were fed.
Being new to the city and having just rented a room I had to stick around so I could pay my bills but at the end of the week I was miserable, and could not push myself to return. I didn’t have a new family to work with when I left, that was a risk I took so I wouldn’t be forced to work another week. We did not have a contract together yet, and the first week was a trial week, with me only having to work 2 full days on my own.
Had I known that you have had many nannies come and go before I accepted the role, I would not have continued to work.
Best wishes,
Angèle
