Hi, I am Cherish. I'm 35 and living in Hedge End with my own family. I work in a pre-school/nursery setting as a senior nursery officer and I am also a trained special needs co-ordinator. I’m an experienced babysitter with 17 years of childcare experience. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, and I truly enjoy creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for them. I’m known for being patient, responsible, and dependable. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing creative activities, or simply ensuring children feel comfortable and cared for.
At the weekends I enjoy going for walks on the beach, baking and spending time with my family.
My Experience
I have previously had lots of experience at different settings including primary schools, pre schools, nurserys and childminder facilities. I am currently working in a nursery that caters for children up to 5 years. My nieces and nephews keep me on my toes when I care for them too. I babysit, including overnight care, for many friends and family members. I am also a trained special needs co-ordinator and have lots of experience with special needs children from the past 17 years.
My Qualifications
I have been CRB checked.
I have an up to date First Aid Training for children and young babies.
I have NVQ level 2 & 3 in Childcare & Development.
I’m a trained SENDCo.
I have also had training in safe guarding children, parent confidentiality, manual handling, food and hygiene, sensory processing, autism awareness, prevent, data protection, fire safety & makaton sign language.
