About Me

I am 25 years old and I grew up in South West London with my parents and two brothers. I went to Streatham and Clapham High School and then Graveney School for sixth form. It was at Graveney that I found Economics and discovered my love for it. I went on to the University of Bristol where I did a BSc and MSc in Economics. After two years of hard work, I managed to publish my Master’s dissertation in an academic journal. This introduced me to the world of academia and I am currently working on PhD proposals and applications. As well as this, I am learning how to trade stocks. I have been learning for a year and a half now and I am consistently trading every day with the aim of being consistently profitable within the next two years.

After university I moved to Hanoi (Vietnam) with some friends where I worked, attempted to learn Vietnamese (in vain), made new friends and learnt about a fascinating culture and wonderful people. I also traveled around South East Asia and after a year of working, I traveled around Indonesia, India, Nepal and South Africa.

I love the outdoors and my biggest hobby is rock climbing. I started it at university and quickly became addicted. It is a sport that allows you to travel to and explore beautiful places, it goes hand in hand with hiking (in order to get to the crags) and you usually get great views from the top of climbs!

I first started in childcare when I was just 16, looking after children in my area. I have continued to work with children through all phases of my life so far and I intend to continue until I have my own!

My mother is a paediatrician, she works in St. Thomas' Hospital in central London. I think I learnt from her how to interact, communicate and play with kids. Because of this, I have always been comfortable with children and enjoyed their company, especially as they enjoy mine. Children are a riot, in all senses of the word! Mostly, they make me laugh and I think this is the most important part of childcare.
