My Summary

My Experience

I started off doing work experience at different primary schools during college as part of my childcare course. I’ve worked as an Early Years Practitioner at day nurseries. I have great knowledge on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I have also worked in a Montessori nursery so I am familiar with the Montessori approach too. Over the last few years, I’ve worked primarily with infants and toddlers but I love children of all ages. I have over six years experience working with children. I also have experience of working with children with complex disabilities and ASD.

I have been working as a nanny for the past three years. From when the pandemic started, due to being made redundant from the nursery I worked at prior to becoming a nanny. I started off through Childcare.co.uk and worked for two different families long-term. I am currently still working for one of the families. I do occasional babysitting on top of work with my regular families and have had the pleasure of meeting different families and building a connection. I adore my job and I am experienced in looking after children of all ages from newborns (3 weeks) to teenagers (14 years old).

When I'm not working, I generally just enjoy being outside, exploring the city and trying out different cuisines. I love travelling and adventures.

I am pet friendly and a non - smoker. I hold an up to date DBS, Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid certificate. I also have a Level 2 & 3 in childcare. I am also fully vaccinated (including booster).
