About Me
We live on a farm near Letham Grange. We have an almost 5 year old, and a 7 year old. My husband is the farm's operations manager and I work remotely as a legal researcher for the University of Glasgow. My husband also has a 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship who lives with us half of the time (but usually not on the childcare days).
I am originally from the Netherlands but the main language in our household is English. We enjoy spending lots of time outdoors (we have a large garden and the estate also has a small play park) and doing arts and crafts. We have a cat and two dogs (a 8-year old dachshund and a 9-month old working border collie - both spend time in the house and on the farm).
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to look after our children at our house after school on an ad hoc basis days to accommodate work-related travel and some holiday cover. During term time we would be looking at around two afternoons a month, sometimes less, sometimes more.
Care needs could occasionally involve giving the children their tea and getting them ready for bed. Previously our children were with a childminder but she is changing careers so we are now exploring options to bring childcare into our house again, so the kids can spend more time at home.
Ideally a babysitter/nanny would pick the kids up from their school in Inverkeilor (we would cover mileage) but if this is not possible we can discuss alternative options.
