About Me
Hi there, I'm Mama to three beautiful children. I am looking for a local childminder to care for my 2 year old from mid July / September 2025. I will need child care on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 5pm approximately both term and non term time.
I have two older children (ages 7 & 5) and if possible childcare may also be required for them occasionally during school holidays as and when needed. Or holiday clubs will be explored.
My Requirements
Sadly our current childminder is no longer able to care for our 2 year old son, due to a change in circumstances. Therefore we now need to find new childcare for our son from mid July 2025, or from September 2025.
I am looking for a local Ofsted registered childminder to take care of my 2 year old son, fairly close to Leavesden, Harry Potter Studios (WD25 7), Abbots Langley, Hunton Bridge or very close surrounding areas. I will need child care on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 5pm approximately both term and non term time.
It is my hope the childminder will have a smaller number of children in their setting and provide a home to home environment.
It is hoped the child minder will possibly go to toddler groups or go out daily with child/ren for walks, to the park, library, trip to farm/zoo or indoor play areas etc at times. Provide a fairly structured daily routine which includes an activity, play time, art/craft activity, outdoor garden activities, reading, singing and dancing. Also IF able provide food/snacks within price where possible. Be non-smoking and preferably no pets, and be fairly close to WD25 / WD4, Leavesden, Abbots Langley or Hunton Bridge or close area.
***I recognise child minders take holiday (annual leave) throughout the year but I'm looking for a child minder that does not charge parent's when they choose to take leave preferably, including not charge for bank holiday's.***
*** The child minder accepts childcare scheme funding 15/30 hrs childcare***.
It's my hope the childminder will treat my child/ren as they would members of their own family, creating a secure, safe and nurturing environment for my child/ren to grow and develop.
*** I recognise not all my preferences or tick boxes what I'm looking for might be achievable so have an open mind and willing to consider all options.***

My desired outcome as any parents would be that I can drop my child/ren off knowing and feeling that my child/ren are in safe hands while I go to work.
