My Requirements

We are looking for a live-out nanny for our two daughters (the first, aged 4 years and the second, aged 6 years) in Barnes. We are seeking to find someone who:
• Has experience being in sole-charge looking after school-aged children and has excellent references;
• Is DBS checked, first-aid qualified and ideally has some form of early-learning qualifications (but not required)

The main responsibilities would include:
• Being in sole-charge of the children Monday-Friday (with flexibility on start and finish times, including evening babysitting, planned and agreed in advance)
• Taking and/or collecting the girls from school, and taking them to activities (they are involved in a number of after school clubs).
• keeping on top of schoolwork, school activities, scheduling and helping with homework
• Preparing nutritious meals for the children.
• Supporting the children with their educational development.
• Caring for the children when they are sick and administering medicine
• Taking care of the children’s laundry and keeping their areas tidy (we have a cleaner twice per week so no general cleaning required).
• Being in charge of certain household management tasks such as, organising online food shopping, taking deliveries, post office duties etc.,

We would like to find someone who is kind, patient and has a genuine interest in
working with young children. We both work and have demanding and sometimes somewhat unpredictable schedules, so we are looking for someone who is also dynamic, proactive, a clear communicator and happy to be reasonably flexible.
