About Me
Hi there my name is Megan (Meg) and I’ve worked in childcare for 5 years. I hold a level 3 NVQ qualification and have completed many different training courses whilst working in a nursery. I am very familiar with the EYFS and have a good understanding about children development.I’m confident and reliable and enjoy being part of the children’s day to explore and learn in many ways. I don’t currently hold a driving license but can still take day trips out wherever you are comfortable with allowing us to go. We can explore in many different ways using different transport this also gives the children to explore trains, busses, boats and many more. I’m just starting this business as a nanny/babysitter and would love this to grow over the next few years.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery for 5 years and have experience with children from 12 weeks to 5 years. I’ve worked with children who have learning difficulties such as autism and children who just need a little extra help with learning. I’ve also worked with older children during college. I have prevent training and safeguarding training as well as completing many more training courses through the years. I have completed first aid training and have certificates for this. Weather it’s making bottles and changing nappies or toileting training and learning numbers and letters I’m always happy and confident to help children feel at most comfort when around me.
