About Me

My name is Jillie, I've been an ofsted rated *GOOD* childminder for nearly 4 years now! I live in Droylsden within walking distance to St Stephens school and Greenside lane primary. I am paediatric first sid trained renewed every 3 years. I started working as an assistant childminder 6 1/2 years ago loved it from the first day. I absolutely love my job and there is no doubt in my mind that this is the job for me!
Each and every child that is In my care I treat with the love and respect I would my own children.
Our way of learning is through fun and laughter.
We teach our children to help, care and Respect one and other which has created lovely little friendships between them all. I don't see this as a job, I see it as extending my family. The children are shown love and kindness everyday. Aswell as lots of cuddles.

We aim to have every child ready for school when their time comes to move on.
We have lots of giggles and are very interactive with our children. We go on days out to parks, beaches, farms, airport, museums, play centres, playgroups and many more.

My home is a very secure and safe place for them to learn.
We have a large dedicated playroom that is filled with educational and fun things to do. Inside We have a reading corner, a home corner, lots of crafts, small world play, dress up and much more. Outside we have a good clean all weather area for our children to get that much needed fresh air. My house backs on to medlock field where we spend lots of time playing, having picnics, collecting leaves taking the dogs for walks and being crazy!

I'm married to Dave who works from home alot so in and out all day. The children love to have a little chat and show him what they are up to when he's around. He has a full ofsted checked DBS

I have 3 children a 25 year old daughter who has a new baby of her own. She is a senco teacher and brings great ideas and activities to my setting to pass on to the children. My son is 18 years old and works at manchester city. He has a full ofsted DBS check. My youngest daughter is 13 and loves looking after the children with me. She has made some lovely little friendships with our minded children.

We have 2 pugs called pippa and Frank and a new addition Elvis the Frug Who is 9 months old. They are very friendly and up-to-date with all vaccinations.

I drop off pick up from St Stephens and Greenside lane in Droylsden.
I work with my sister who is my assistant. She has a full ofsted DBS and is also ey2 registered as an assistant with ofsted for working in my home. She is pediatric first aid trained too.
