I am Ofsted Registered nanny with recent DBS, I have been working with children for the past 20 years from 0 - 11 years in various different settings. I am kind, patient, caring, creative and energetic with a good sense of humour. I love creating play and learning opportunities, being outdoors, exploring in nature, doing messy art, cooking, supporting independence and creativity. I have lots of great references. I have two lovely daughters, a 13 year old and a 19 month old. I also have a level 3 Diploma in Playwork, Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education and Diploma in Jungian Psychology with Art Therapy. I live in Hertford.
My Experience
I have worked in schools, pre-schools, nurseries, community centres, charities. I have facilitated art, craft and drama groups, managed large holiday playschemes, after school clubs, worked with children with SEN, autism. My work experience is extensive. I've worked in roles ranging from management, fundraising, creating policies and procedures to childcare assistant working in nurseries and pre-schools and nannying. I love children to learn through play and fun, and I pride myself on encouraging learning, curiosity, individuality and independence through play and fun.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in playwork which allows me to manage any childcare setting, a further level 5 in Early childhood care and education, level 6 in Jungian Psychology with art therapy, a recent paediatric first aid certificate and DBS with Update Service
