My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive experience with young children and have provided babysitting services to a variety of families with varied numbers of children and of varied ages. I also have been providing nannying and mother support one day a week for the past 18months to a mum with a now 28month old little girl and almost 4month old. My past care experience ranges from just a few hours, to full days and even to overnight stays. I have the most experience with ages 0yrs-6yrs, however have extensive experience with older children and teenagers also. I am a registered back up carer for friends of mine who are foster carers, primarily with parent and baby placements. I have previously worked as a nanny to a family with two children in nursery. In this role I assisted with getting the children ready for nursery, driving them there and picking them up and sometimes sorting dinner and bedtime. Currently I also provide occasional sole care of my 9month old nephew. I am also on the DBS update service as I regularly volunteer with children and teenagers.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying a BA(Hons) in counselling and I have a BSc(Hons) in Psychology. I also have an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Nursing and Healthcare Professions. I have TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering. I am also on the DBS update service.

My Availability

I can provide the equivalent of one day’s work to a family but can be flexible on how this is split up in the week. Unfortunately, I cannot do Tuesdays or Sundays, other than potentially the occasional evening babysitting. I would be open to discussing working Saturdays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

I charge a £12 p/h rate for Nannying services, however if a family needed set hours every week, I would be happy to discuss what services they need and then create a weekly rate. I am open to discussion on this rate.
