My Experience

I am Montessori London qualified (2001) Level 4 equivalent, with a wealth of over 25 years experience in childcare in many and various settings at home and abroad.

I completed my Montessori teaching practice in 2001 and was then employed as a teacher at Sunshine Montessori Pre-School in Bromley for over 3 years until my son was born.

After moving to Whitstable I was employed as an Early Years practitioner at All Saints Nursery School.

I ran the Pre-School room at Townsend Montessori when it first opened in Whitstable in 2010, and managed the Baby Room at Choochoos Day Nursery in Canterbury in 2011. Following that I looked after a 4 year old girl, and twin boys from 10 months until they were 3 years of age in their home.

In 2014 and 2015 I was employed as a teaching assistant at Herne Bay Junior School primarily supporting a Year 4 boy with a disability.

Since then I have worked with several families with children of various ages from newborn to 10 years of age, and some with special needs.

My Qualifications

Montessori International Nursery Foundation Diploma - with Merit 2001 NVQ equivalent 4.

I have attended many courses such as safeguarding subsequently in nursery practice through KCC, and have lots of experience of the EYFS alongside the Montessori teaching method.

I hold a current Ofsted Enhanced DBS certificate, I am Ofsted Registered and signed up for Tax Free Childcare

My Availability

Available as a Nanny / Childcarer Monday to Friday. Also available for local evening babysitting. Please contact me.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)

£16/18 per hour depending on children’s ages, and level of care required.
