I have 32 years experience working with children within different settings I have worked in schools, nurseries before becoming a childminder.
OFSTED rated GOOD.
I attend playgroups/jo jingles/moo music/library and parks regularly and meet with other childminders too. It's lovely that the children get to make friends and see them on a regular basis.
I have experience with special educational needs and follow the EYFS framework required by ofsted
I have a purpose built play room which caters for every child’s needs
I am very flexible and aim to help families however I can.
I also offer 15/30 hours free funding places.

I sent my children to jacqui's back in 2009 when my eldest started nursery school she had been recommended by a neighbour. Girls settled in really well and never have an issue. I even sent my son from about 9 months. My children felt safe with jacqui, she also had activities for them or trips out ie playgroup, picnics or farm visits etc, My youngest daughter become good friends with Jacqui's daughter they went to school together and have remained friends. I totally trust jacqui and had no concerned with her welfare with caring for my children.

After searching forever and being given a glowing review we decided in 2023 to send my oldest to Jacqui when i was ready to go back to work & that was the best decision we have ever made & now my youngest has also started this year! (7 months) I also work within the care sector and can confidently say her standards are just impeccable!!!
I have nothing but amazing things to say,
Jacqui has been extremely supportive twice now when I’ve gone back after mat leave, she has made the transition for both them and me easy, and always does her upmost to accommodate my boys ( for example…Both boys have/had a CMPA/CMA allergy)
I’ve never once had an issue & she always goes above & beyond for my boys & all the other littles that go.
She always has fun days out planned (farms, soft plays, play groups, a special visit with Santa at Xmas) they are always doing fun activities ( painting, coloring, building,) My oldest loves going so much he doesn’t even say bye now he runs through and shuts the door on us! 😅
Both myself & my partner have said time & time again how happy we are they go to her and how relaxed & content we feel knowing they are receiving the best care & having the most fun whilst we are working.
We have also seen especially with my oldest who’s been there nearly 2 years the amount of progress he has made.
In more simple words Jacqui is the most thoughtful, kind, caring person I have ever met and wouldn’t wish to send my boys anywhere else & if we were to have anymore we most certainly would want them to go to Jacqui!

I’ve known Jacqui for several years and have taken and collected all three of my grandchildren over the last few years and still do for two of them the children are taken out to playgroups soft play and especially in the summer on days out to the farm and the seaside she is second to none all my grandchildren love going to Jacquis they also have a lovely relationship with her own children

My little boy came to Jacqui when I returned to work after maternity leave and stayed with her for a couple of years before he started school recently - I genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Jacqui is lovely, she’s brilliant with all kids, her house is amazing and she’s always taking them on days out. My boy is shy and can be quite moody, but every day I picked him up he was smiling we never had any issues whatsoever. He ate super well at her house too and I was worried about that initially because he could be fussy for us/family members, so that was a weight off my mind. I am expecting another baby this year and will absolutely be sending him to Jacquis if she has space when my maternity leave finishes again (I hope so!) as I trust her completely. Thank you so much ☺️

Jacqui has been an amazing childminder for as long as I can remember, she has looked after my little girl on numerous occasions, taken her out on lovely day trips, playgroups, activities at her home, which I must add her home is beautiful and clean, making her feel part of the family which is all you could ask for in your child’s life, my little girl loves Jacqui and she has had a huge impact on my little girls up bringing couldn’t thank you enough for making us feel welcome and making me feel happy and safe leaving my little girl. Thank you for everything you have done for us we will never forget you ❤️

My son was with Jacqui for 3 years and in that time he thrived met all his milestones and was the happiest boy . My son could be quite challenging but Jacqui was amazing with him . He went on lots of adventures and met new friends. He even asked for Jacqui at the weekends that's how much he enjoyed spending time with her . My son is now a confident boy who enjoys school life and this because he had the best start in life with Jacqui. I can never thank her enough.
I have friends who I recommend her to and they all say the same .

Our experience with this provider was a negative one, to the extent that someone who doesn't usually write reviews is writing one. We did much research over the summer to find good childcare but ultimately you have to stick a pin in the map and take a leap of faith and I really wish we had not landed on this one. In the space of a month my son had two nasty bruises to the cheek (must have been some real bangs to bruise an infants sweet chubby cheek so badly). Whilst we understand accidents happen, especially with multiple children to oversee, proper safeguarding procedures were not followed correctly. On one incident the accident was apparently at a library and we were told we didn't need an accident form as the accident happened away from her premises, this is rubbish and it is basic safeguarding to provide an accident report to parents regardless of location. I work in a school and am safeguarding trained. We had decided the provision was substandard and proceeded to seek alternative care. I happened to message her friend on here who informed her we were looking for childcare elsewhere and she terminated the contract with immediate affect that day. No contract was broken and this is also a breach of GDPR from both parties, as a parent it is our perogative to seek alternative provision should we judge services to be substandard. She wanted to cause maximum disruption to our lives but I'm happy to say she failed and we are so much happier in our new situation. Apparently childminders in this area talk to one another and she told me she knew everyone we visited and/or messaged over summer. Quite bizarre and unnerving. Ask for the URN number for Ofsted and do plenty of research. I'm so glad this awful first experience of post maternity leave childcare is behind us.

My son went to Jacqui from being 18 months old right through to starting reception and he loved every minute of his time there.
Jacqui always treated him as one of her own, and aa an 1st time Mum this was incredibly important to me.
She would go above and beyond to accommodate us every way possible.
His days were filled with brilliant activities whether that be in the house or out and about at play centres, farms, zoos, playgroups, everything you could wish for for your child.
Her family environment was lovely and her children and partner were amazing with Charlie too.
Safe to say all mine and Charlie’s needs were definitely met with Jacqui and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a Childminder in the area.
Charlie still asks to go back even now 😀

Difficult to get a response from when I needed her to provide document, yet I was chased for a deposit with deadline to pay and threat to use her "waiting list").
I've been told that my baby can start any time then it was delayed twice,where I really needed help. Then when I found support with another childminder that had started quickly, she approached them at fun depo recognising my baby like it was "hers". Now I'm left with deposit paid & no service provided, no response.
Thanks Jacqui, use your waiting list.

Jacqui has been truly amazing, my daughter was with her from being 6 months old im so great full for the positive impact jacqui has had on her and the love and support she gave to her. My daughter misses her dearly and asks about her all the time. I would 100% recommend jacqui and if i have any more children in my future I’ll defiantly be returning for her to be my childminder again. Thankyou for everything you have done. 😊
