About Me
Hello,
My name is Laura Treasure (39) I have been registered as a childminder since November 2015 and very excited to be in my new career!
I feel as a person I am very caring, patient, positive and happy, and I believe our home is full of love, encouragement, fun and laughter.
I live with my husband Rob and daughters Sophia (13) and Evelyn(6) (expecting number 3 May 2025!)
After a long career in retail management I decided along with our move to Romsey to take the plunge and change careers to something I have wanted to do for a long time. We moved to the Romsey summer 2014 of and absolutely love the area.
We are now located in North Baddesley.
I have been graded ‘good’ January 2018 and again in August 2023 which I was really pleased with. My inspections went really well and the inspector's were really positive about myself and setting.
I have references from several parents also.

My Experience
I have been childminding since November 2015 for children aged between around 9 months up to the age of 8 years.
I am also a mother to 6 year old Evelyn and 13 year old Sophia. I have two step children who are 21 and 22.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid Course
Level 3 award in Home Based Childcare
Safeguarding training
Prevent Duty training
Ofsted graded ‘Good’
My Availability
Spaces available Monday-Thursday full days from September 2025 for children 1 year old+ (Possibly settling in sessions during August)
I will be closed in June 2025 for maternity leave.

My daughter has been with Laura for a few months and we love her. Her manner is gentle but firm, she's thorough in her care and record keeping and takes active ages to appropriately progress children in their development. Also her communication is first rate.
