Hello! My name is Lara. I’m 27 years old and currently work in the psychology field specialising in neurodevelopment conditions (ADHD/ASD).
I hold an updated DBS check and a full UK driver's licence so it is very easy for me to commute to the surrounding areas of Northwich.
I have over five years of experience as a casual babysitter and over 20 years of being with children from newborn to fifteen, as my mum was a childminder when I was growing up. From the age of 16-20, I worked as her assistant which enabled us to have thirteen children with us daily. I have been changing nappies since I can remember!
I am extremely patient, kind and fun (hopefully the kids would agree!) nothing is too much trouble and I am an avid supporter of play-based learning. I absolutely love being creative; baking, cooking, and going on days out.
I am available after school and for evening babysitting. I am happy to cook for the children and help out with any cleaning duties.

My Experience
My experience in childcare is extensive. My mum was a registered childminder for over twenty years, so the majority of my life has been spent around children of all ages. At 16, I was registered as her assistant and together we took care of thirteen children who were of varied ages.
Since then, I’ve supported numerous lovely families with children of all ages. I have experience working with SEN children and children with additional needs.
I love working with children in a home setting, supporting their routine and understanding their family life, likes and dislikes.
My Qualifications
I hold an MSc in Psychology and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy.
I have a Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care, and a Level 4 Diploma in Child Psychology. I complete regular and extensive training with my workplace on ADHD, ASC and other neurodiverse and mental health conditions. I hold a Safe Guarding Diploma and a 40-hour TEFL certification.
I also hold a full UK Driver’s licence.

Lara looked after our 1 year old son when we were visiting Lewes/Uckfield for work. She was very trustworthy, friendly, professional and our little boy absolutely loved her. We’d definitely use Lara again if we were in the area and highly recommend her to other parents.
