About Me
I am an experienced primary teacher specialising in Key Stage 1. I offer reading, phonics, writing and maths tutoring from pre-school to Year 3. I believe that teaching should be personalised to individual childrens’ needs and learning styles.
My Experience
I have been a teacher for 12 years, 11 of which have been in Year 2. I am therefore very experienced in Key Stage 1 and preparing children for the end of KS1 SATs. I am passionate about early phonics and reading and believe these are the building blocks for later learning.
My Qualifications
I have an EdCert with Primary specialism (PGCE) for which I gained a distinction.
I also have a BA with Hons (2:1) in French.
I am fully CRB checked.
My Availability
Evenings. Other times may be available. Feel free to contact me. I have daytime availability for pre-school children.

Kate is a fantastic experienced tutor! Very pleasant, friendly and bubbly with my daughter. My seven year old daughter absolutely loved her and couldn’t wait for her lessons with her. That showed us as parents testament on how good Kate is with kids and how fun her teaching is! Would definitely recommend!
