My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Natasha, I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I live in Dawlish, with my 2 school aged children.
I have a level 3 diploma for the Early Years workforce, a level 2 diploma in Understanding Adverse childhood Experiences
Paediatric First aid
Level 3 safeguarding
I am regularly updating my personal development to ensure I’m up to date with the latest childcare information and guidance as well as to enhance my knowledge.
I follow the EYFS Statutory Framework, this is the standards that school and childcare providers must meet for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5.
Here at Happy Faces, we have a lovely sized play area in the dining room/kitchen where we do the play activities and arts and crafts.
The front room is set for a calmer environment, for naps, or to chill out when needed. Storytime Is done in here.
We have a daily circle time where we sit together as a group to read books, do song time or to play games.
We go out most days. We attend lots of playgroups so the children have lots of opportunities to mix with other children in a busier environment as well as in the more personal, homely setting.
Being out and about has huge benefits to young children's development.
The park, woods, walks, feeding the ducks, soft play, Paignton Zoo, Canonteign Falls, Powderham Castle and the World of Country Life are a few of the regular places we go. We meet up with other childminder friends most days.
I absolutely adore children and love making wonderful memories with them. I pride myself on always trying to give the children the best and most enjoyable time while they are with me, thus meaning they get the best out of their learning and development in a natural and fun way. Every child is unique and treated as an individual.
I have good communication with the local schools and pre schools for those sharing settings or moving on to their next chapter.
My career history is in nursing and I became a childminder in October 2019 after finally having the courage to leave the NHS to follow my dream of working with children, it is the best decision I've ever made.
Please feel free to drop me a message with any questions you may have.

Tasha is a wonderful childminder who has cared for both of my children over the past three years. My son started with Tasha at two years old and stayed under her care until he left to go to school. Tasha is now childminder to my daughter (aged two) who has been with her since nine months. Tasha offered a number of gradual settling in sessions for both children allowing them to become familiar with both her and her home setting. Her home is very welcoming for the children where they have access to plenty of toys and activities. The opportunities Tasha has afforded my children have been wonderful, from local play groups to trips to the zoo or aquarium. They have gained so much from their time with Tasha and I would highly recommend her. Tasha sends us regular updates on the children during the day and it truly feels like a home from home for them.

My son has now been with Natasha for about a year and a half and absolutely loves it! I actually decided to switch to Natasha from another childminder and it’s the best decision I ever made! She’s the loveliest person ever, her communication is amazing and she always has exciting activities planned for the children! I would 100% recommend Natasha to anyone with a child! Their needs always come before her own and she genuinely treats them like they are her own children. I couldn’t ask for anyone better! 😀

My daughter has been with Tasha for 3 years, I cannot put into words how amazing she is, my daughter absolutely adores her, I chose to keep her with Tasha instead of pre school because I feel at such ease and my daughter is so happy there, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and is absolutely thriving and I cannot thank Tasha enough for this and for all she does and provides for her. Tasha is by far the best and it’s going to be a very very emotional goodbye when my daughter starts school in September
