My Summary
About Me
I am a registered childminder based in Chertsey, within walking distance from the train station.
I aim to provide a flexible, positive, home from home environment for children where they can feel safe, play, learn and build friendships. Children in my care will be treated with love and respect. They will learn about personal safety, healthy eating, enjoy regular circle time with plenty of outdoor play and messy time.
The children will go on regular outings to local parks, library, fruit picking, farms, soft play, play centres, toddler groups and many more including seasonal activities. I always aim to take the children to enjoy open spaces for picnics and general outdoor play.
My setting is a three bedroomed semi-detached house, within walking distance of Chertsey train station. The kitchen is used for cooking/baking activities; I have a large enclosed garden for plenty of outdoor play (during nice weather we spend plenty of time out in the fresh air). I have space available for nap times, and a vast amount of resources available for developmental activities.
As a mother I understand that it can be hard to hand your child over to someone else when you have to go to work or have other commitments. You worry that they are not going to get the care and attention that you would give them yourself, I aim to provide children with the same love, care and respect they would receive at home.
I love to be in the company of energetic children and enjoy being involved in their activities and watching them learn while supporting their individual needs.
My Experience
I have two young children myself (born December 2018 & September 2022) and I have been working in the childcare industry since August 2019, which has given me the experience required.
I have completed numerous courses in Early Years care: Early Years Level 3 qualification, ChIP, Advanced Safeguarding Children, Paediatric First Aid, Food hygiene, Health & Safety and many more.

Kirsty has been looking after my twin girls for over a year now, she's amazing, I was initially worried about who was going to care for them when I went back to work but as soon as I met kirsty she instantly made me feel comfortable and reassured. Highly flexible and providing holistic care to them there's nothing she cant do
Our son has been going to Kirsty since December 2020. Having a baby in lockdown was tough and made it feel even harder to leave him when the time came to go back to work. I cannot express more how amazing Kirsty is. She is so kind, fun, motherly, safe and cheery! Her house is immaculate and our son eats so well when he’s there! We are so happy we found her and our son has thrived under her care and with the other children he regularly gets to interact with in her setting. Even during covid restrictions, Kirsty stayed creative and energetic in the activities and excursions outdoors, always with safety in mind.
I would highly recommend Kirsty for children of all ages, she is wonderful!
My son has been in Kirsty’s care since January 2020. I can honestly say that I have complete faith in her as a childminder. I know that his wellbeing and happiness are her number one priority. Kirsty is extremely bubbly and fun, just what I would hope for in a childminder! She is constantly trying to better herself through the many qualifications and courses listed above. She takes her responsibilities as a childminder seriously and really makes me feel at ease when leaving my son in her care. She is passionate about her job, which is so lovely to see. My son truly looks forward to seeing her (and her little guy) every time I drop him off. I absolutely recommend Kirsty as a childminder, 100%!
